September 25, 2020 - After bolting everything up, we cut a few square pieces to use as the backing for the sander as well as the rest. We first aligned the backing and tacked it into place then positioned the rest making sure it's perpendicular to the backing plate and tacked that in place. Once we were happy with the position, we removed it from the assembly and welded them completely. After everything cooled down, we sprayed a quick coat of paint and assembled everything onto the bench grinder.
