What is the best 40-inch TV right now?
Is it worth getting a 4K 40-inch TV instead of 1080p?
Which is the right 40-inch TV for you?
Due to the space constraints, a 40 inch tv is thr biggest tv that this room can accommodate and evrn this is pushing it. I realize the 42s are 1-2inches wider but that's a lot in this space. Reading the reviews for 40s, none really sounds great. There are a couple of QLED options that get mixed reviews. I was leaning toward the Roku Select series but I'd like some suggestions from people who are more knowledgeable about tvs. I'm not playing games. I do have cable. The room that where it will be going doesn't have a ton of light.
If this isn't the place to ask can someone tell me which subreddit I should ask? thx.
Looking at a 38" to 43" range, 40" is pretty much perfect but that's that popular anymore.
I have an old 50in Scepture TV and I really want to change it out. I really really want an OLED but $1k for a TV is too much for me, especially for a 40". A Nano LED TV would be nice but I can't find a small one. Most TV's now sadly seem to be 50" or bigger if you want to get a deal. I wouldn't mind a used or refurbished OLED as long as it doesn't have burn in and I have a reliable source for them.
I'm looking for 40" because it's the biggest tv I can comfortably fit against my wall without covering the window. I'm also thinking of keeping it off the wall and just moving it in front of the window when I want to enjoy a movie, then moving it back for casual YouTube/ TV shows.
I don't care how pricey it is, but it's for a bedroom space that is limited. Are Sonys still the best picture wise, especially for people who hate soap opera effect? I'm looking at the Sony 42 and 48 inch A90ks, any opinions? Thanks!
I am in the market for a 4K television to go with both my PC and Xbox series X and I’m curious if a 4K TV not having AMD free sync will be an issue.
I have a 7800x3d with a 7900xtx and was planning on running 1440p and upscaling to 4K if possible
Looking for replacement for our five or six year old 40 inch Sony. Not interested in gaming. Just want a good picture on a set that’s not overly complicated to set up and operate.
My son has three Vizios that he loves. I’ve heard good things about LGs. The LG 43uq7070zud looks good.
Looking in the range of $300 to $400.
We don’t have really strong internet. Our only access is via ATT cellular ZTE Homebase getting 26-50 Mbps, if that makes a difference. We currently have no problem streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, or MAX. But Paramount Plus is a booger and buffer constantly or sends an error message.
Thanks for your guidance.
I need to replace my dying 40" 4K tv. I can't find any manufacturer that makes a 4K tv less thank 43". Why is this? I assume people don't think a tv that small needs to be 4K, but I can definitely see a difference compared to my previous 40" HD tv.
