How high should a TV stand be for a 50-inch TV?
When will new 50-inch TVs be revealed?
New 50-inch TV models are expected to be unveiled during the CES tech show in Las Vegas from January 6 to 9. CES is traditionally where brands like Samsung, LG, TCL, and Hisense announce their latest display models for the new year. However, new TVs don't typically hit stores until the spring.

So Im only getting a new TV because our Hisense 55” has given up and wont connect to wifi no matter what we do or how many times we factory reset it. And we’ve had it only 2 years. (So PLEASE do not recommend Hisense) . I was hoping we would have this TV for a long time so we are extremely disappointed and need something that wont break easily like this. Im gonna go for a 50” this time because I dont think I can afford a 55”. Please help suggest something you know will last.
Hey guys, ideally I’d love to buy a 50” LG C4, but it costs $1700 CAD. I’d love to come in under that price, but the only next options I see are like Samsung q60d for $700.
This TV gets slammed everywhere and they all say TCL is better for the $$.
Problem with that recommendation is any TCL that is better is at minimum 55”. Or not available in Canada.
My criteria is under $1000, 48 or 50”. And a TV that is not slammed by people on Reddit. What’s the options? What would you guys recommend?
This will be in my living room with windows everywhere. Mostly tv shows and movies.
Looking to stay around or under $500. Looking for something that looks good, light gaming, and controls well.
Appreciate any recommendations or sales worth checking out want to buy soon (next few days to week)
