This is very foreign territory for me, so I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I have a 2018 Jeep renegade. The front driver door midwoofer speaker went out about a year ago. Google says it's a 6x9 speaker. Dealership looked at it and quoted like $300 for it with labor ($60 speaker). I figured at that price, I'd look into a set of aftermarket speaker for the front doors. Now that school is out, I have a few moments to look into it.
What kind of speakers would be recommended? I'm not replacing the stock stereo. Does that make it more difficult?

If you just want basic replacements and don't really care much about getting a huge upgrade in sound quality, mainly you'll want something with a high sensitivity rating. JBL or Infinity 6x9s would work well. I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot that has 1 TX69 Skar 6x9 in each door, so a total of 4 6x9s.
I have an SSL Evolution 400w 4-Channel Amp power just the 6x9s and it sounds great, and gets plenty loud for me
My question is, what would be the best 6x9 if I want the best sound quality ? I am more an "Audiophile" than a "basshead", so it would be awesome if I could studio monitor quality through some 6x9s.
I know it's not going to be as good as being in a acoustically sound room, woth high dollar monitors. But it would be nice to get as close as I can.
If you've made it this far, then I have a another question ! I am running 2 Kicker Comp 12" @ 300w RMS each. It also sounds good, and is loud enough for me (for now), what would be some good options for good 'quality' bass, not just... loud...
Any tips, info, help is appreciated!

The easy answer is Kenwood Excelon, but you'll also want to employ some form of correction through a DSP or EQ to get the most out of them.

I really really really like my infinity kappa 6 x9 components. I picked up the addon mid for a 3 way setup and my gawd does it scream when you put power to em. I didnt use the included crossovers but you can, it even has a way to wire in the extra 3 way speaker so you get correct frequency splitting across all the speakers. I don't see people talk about infinity much but I've used them for years, since the kappa perfect days, and always had great luck with them. They so have done great warranty work, about 17 years ago I had a pair of the kappa perfect 12's and the VC wires fell off, they just mailed me 2 new subs no questions asked. I soldered the wires back on and then I had 4 12's lol. It depends what kind of sound you like. Infinitive are very bright. Unless you don't like it then they are harsh...either way the highs hit you hard. They are not a smooth mellow speaker, they open up tons of detail in the sound and slqp you in the face if you set them up right. A personal favorite of mine atm is Infected Mushroom, it sounds CRAZY on my infinities.
