I only have a $300 (P17,000) budget for an 8" mattress I am wondering if spring is a bad pick, my partner told me spring mattresses are not good for long term. I would like a recommendation on this uratex site. I also have an option that makes me afford a 12" queen mattress just for $230 (13,000) which is I feel a good deal than Uratex but the problem is it has springs.

Zero people on the earth can help you. You need to go to a mattress store and try them out and pick what you like. Techinically speaking the mattress TYPE that has been recommended as BIFL is latex, but they are heavy as shit, expensive and get hot and from what I know will curb stomp your budget. So....go to a store and try them out in person and pick what YOU like.

If I were you I’d go for a queen or king sized mattress. Not sure how you plan on sleeping on something 8-12 inches long /s Kidding aside, other poster is right. You need to go and ‘try out’ the mattress. I’m not sure where you are located but in the US 300 dollars is not going to get you a high quality mattress. In that price range the spring mattresses would not be a good idea imo. The foam ones will (mostly) feel the same throughout it’s life. A spring one would end up getting worse with time. High quality spring mattress are nice and will last a long time. Not so with lower quality ones in my experience. If $300 is an average price for a quality mattress where you are (average cost is around 800-1300 in the USA) then you should be good with whatever you like best, as the best option. If that’s on the cheap side, then I would definitely still try it out before buying, but keep in mind that a spring one might get less comfortable over time. Sleeping is subjective. A quality mattress for one person will not be a as nice of a mattress for another.

Sleep On Latex in either firmness is about as firm as you can get. It’s like sleeping on a slightly cushioned slab of rock (depending on your height/weight). Their customer service is amazing, and the return/exchange policy is almost perfect

Hello!!! So I have started the overwhelming task of mattress shopping and I’m having a bit of a hard time knowing what is good.
I’m looking for a full sized mattress with a maximum of 8 in height. It’s going in a loft bed with a guardrail, so I don’t want the mattress higher than that.
I’m mostly a side sleeper, occasionally stomach sleeper, and I’m pretty light at only 90-100 Ibs
I don’t want to break the bank, and I don’t have a lot to spend, but I’d be open to seeing what’s in any budget!

If I had to make a single recommendation without knowing your comfort preferences, the engineered sleep classic in simple-firm at 8" height would be my top choice. Simple 2-sided innerspring mattresses from a company who makes decent mattresses for the price. I think shopping in person is always best though so you can see what the mattress feels like before puchasing it. In that regard I like Ikea as they have a few mattresses such as the Vestroy that meet your requirements and they are available in different levels of firmness.
