I think there is no “better” in this situation, it comes down to your personal taste. In my opinion the furniture underneath my TV has to be a bit wider than the TV itself, I think it looks better. More on reddit.com

Hello! Posting this as a desperate cry for help haha
My wife has said yes to us getting an 85 inch TV, but we cannot find a TV stand big enough for it.
It has to support 100lbs, be "deep" enough for 18 inch stand (we aren't hanging it), and be wide enough for the 75 inch TV.
I have looked at every furniture website and just can't find one big enough! Anyone an expert at these things?
Edit* I should add- it has to be white :( I can't believe how hard it is to find haha
Edit 2 - leaning towards getting a universal stand to replace the included ones, seems like the only option
