Hey all
I live in a small apartment with 2 cats and I am trying to keep it clean, but my vacuum is terrible. This is my first apartment and when I moved in I bought the cheapest vacuum possible, I think it was like $25, and I have since regretted that as it just doesn’t get things clean. Like I’ll vacuum and it won’t pick up a lot of cat hair, and it also misses a ton a little things, to the point where my feet are constantly covered in little pieces of dirt/whatever.
I am looking for something, preferably under or around 100ish that will actually keep my carpets clean and preferably keep up with the cat hair.
Any suggestions?

When is the best time to buy a vacuum?
Vacuum cleaners go on sale frequently throughout the year, especially around the holidays and major shopping events like Amazon Prime Day or Black Friday. Typical discounts range from about 25% to 50% off on top brands, giving you the opportunity to snag a more premium model for less.
What is the average price of a vacuum cleaner?
We've tested $50 vacuums all the way up to $1,000 plus options, so the landscape can vary widely. For a cheap vacuum, we set the parameters as under $200 for an upright or cordless and under $250 for a robot vacuum.
How long does a cheap vacuum last?
According to data from Consumer Reports, vacuum cleaners can last for a median of 8 years.
However, it depends on how often you use your vacuum and how well you maintain it. Cheap vacuum motors may not have the same longevity as those of more premium options, costing you more in the long run if you find yourself replacing them sooner than you planned.

Hi I’m currently on a search for a budget vacuum for mostly hard floors with a small rug in each room.
I stumbled upon this tri star a101s for 40$ and was wondering about others opinions.
I was also considering the Eureka Might Mite.
I was just wanted to hear what everybody’s two cents are.
Hello! I was wondering the best type of vacuum for my home that's probably 80% Carpet/Rugs and 20% Hardwood. It's a 3 story house so I wouldn't want one that's too heavy since that would just be a hassle to vacuum the carpet stairs. I'd say around the $300 price range is ideal, but a little higher or lower is good.
I was looking into cordless Dyson or Shark vacuums but as I look into them, people state that they're for the "fancier?" type of houses and not a house that actually looks like it's lived in (i.e. Children, Pets, Hair, etc.), of course you could correct me if I'm wrong.
A cordless vacuum that doesn't break the bank would be preferred but if you have any suggestions please let me know, thank you!
