We are a small business who went organically viral in October, I am trying to figure out what is the best app to use for marketing and making videos? Whether it be AI or something else, I would love it to work for Instagram, Facebook, even TikTok. Also any recommendations on a great video editor for ads, I have used Capcut but wondering if there is anything better. Any advice and help is great appreciated! Thanks so much!

Hey creators, founders, and marketers 👋

I’m on the hunt for game-changing AI tools that help speed up and LEVEL UP content creation for service-based businesses (think SaaS, app dev, consulting, coaching, etc.).

Specifically looking for tools that handle things like:

✅ Social media posts (graphics + captions) ✅ Reels / Shorts / TikToks ✅ YouTube videos or voice-over explainers ✅ Bonus: repurpose blogs, tweets, or newsletters into visual/video content

My dream tool would:

Create scroll-stopping visuals or videos in minutes Support multi-platform exports (LinkedIn, IG, YouTube, etc.) Have built-in automation (e.g., turn text → video or idea → carousel) Let me easily add brand colors, fonts, etc. without rebuilding from scratch every time 💬 What are YOU using right now that's actually saving you time and helping you grow? Free or paid, AI or hybrid — I’d love real-world feedback.

If you’ve tested a few tools, feel free to share what worked and what didn’t. I’ll happily share my list once I test some options too!

Thanks in advance 🙏 Let’s build a killer AI stack together 💡

Bonus points if you drop a before/after post result

Spent the last two months trying jasper, copy.ai, hootsuite's ai features, later, and blotato because I was tired of spending entire days on social content.

Jasper writes well but it's pricey and you still need to edit everything heavily. Copy.ai has good templates but the output feels samey after a while. Hootsuite's ai stuff is honestly pretty basic, feels tacked on. Later has beautiful templates but if you need video or apis you're out of luck.

Ended up with blotato mostly because it doesn't try to do the writing for you, just handles the reformatting and distribution. Still has some quirks but the video support and api access made sense for what I needed.

Anyone else go through this testing phase? Feels like every tool promises the world and delivers like 60% of it.

Hi everyone! I’m trying to make writing content easier by using AI tools. I’ve tried a few already, but some still sound too robotic or are not consistent.

So far, the best ones I’ve used are PerfectEssayWriter.ai and MyEssayWriter.ai. They do a great job with essays, article drafts, and even long-form writing. The results sound clear and natural, which is exactly what I need.

Still, I’m always open to new ideas—has anyone here found other tools they like? Or have any good prompts or templates you use to make AI writing better?

Would really appreciate any tips. Thanks!

I’m trying to put together a small workflow for making videos and visual content, and I’m curious what other creators are using these days. I’ve been testing imini AI, Canva’s AI tools, and Pika Labs, and each one feels useful in different ways — imini is really easy for generating quick visuals or short clips, Canva is great for polishing things up, and Pika is fun for fast creative video ideas.

For anyone who creates content regularly, what tools have actually made your life easier? I’m looking for things that save time without needing a bunch of learning or setup. Any favorites you’d recommend?

For content creation I've been using Pressmaster.ai for writing the actual scripts and captions. Started using it because i was spending way too much time writing LinkedIn posts for my agency.. now I just dump my messy notes in there and it turns them into polished content in my voice. Takes like 20 minutes instead of hours. Video wise, I combine a few things depending on what I'm making. Descript is pretty solid for editing talking head videos - the transcript editing feature saves so much time. Just delete words from the transcript and it cuts the video automatically. For quick social media stuff, CapCut has been my go-to lately. The templates are actually useful and you can customize them enough that they don't look generic. Plus it handles vertical video really well which is basically all I post now. The thing that made the biggest difference for me was realizing I don't need to use every AI feature.. just pick the ones that actually speed up your specific bottlenecks. Like for me, writing was taking forever so Pressmaster solved that. Video editing was fine already so I just use basic tools there. Also found that batching content works way better than trying to use AI to create stuff daily - I'll write like 10 posts at once when I'm in the zone, then schedule them out. Way less stressful than scrambling for ideas every morning.

I’ve got a project where I edit short YouTube videos for a creator, and I have to crank out a lot of clips. I’ve been looking for ways to cut down the workload, and automatic subtitles in Movavi have been a big time-saver for me. I also use the auto-silence removal sometimes not for every video, but it’s handy when it fits.

I'm kind of crazy about trying all the different tools because I have faceless YT channels and goal is to constantly improve output, without decreasing quality (too much). In my experience these ones were absolutely worth it for me and my team to quickly go from ideas to final videos: Team ChatGPT subscription - internal docs + quick ideation for titles, description, scripts, etc. + tons of niche things VidIQ - particularly ''outliers'' section is constantly giving us viral ideas that are easy to iterate on, worth every single cent even though I pay like $200 per month since one sub is just for 1 acc Katalist AI - quickly generate storyboards with AI out of scripts, which give us a lot of customization options and we're able to go from idea to final video all in one app CapCut PRO - I only hire editors that do CapCut, maybe a bit controversial or unpopular in content creation space but I normally get 20-40% faster production items because of so many templates already in the program itself + UX is much more intuitive Descript - I don't use it for my faceless YT channels, but its a top tier app for podcasts, text based editing, lots of features like AI eye fix, clips out of main video, etc. If you have any specific questions just ask, I can point you in the right direction I probably tried more than 30 AI content creation tools in the past year haha

2 years later and we have so many amazing AI tools for content generation. In 2023 it was like Jasper and maybe 1-2 others. The tool we're using right now is ProductScope AI and it's not just AI content generation but you can hook up the blog manager to your site and it will auto publish fully optimized blog posts daily to their site and drive traffic on autopilot. Of course, you can also use the paid versions of ChatGPT and Claude they are also good, but you will need to learn prompting which is like a big skill in 2025.

If you're looking for AI tools to assist with content creation, there are a few popular ones worth checking out. One of the top contenders is Grammarly, which uses AI to help improve grammar, spelling, and overall writing style. It's like having a virtual writing assistant by your side. Another great tool is WordAI, which utilizes natural language processing to generate unique and high-quality content. It can save you time by automating certain writing tasks. Now, when it comes to comparing AI tools to human writing, it's important to note that AI is still evolving. While these tools can be helpful for proofreading, generating ideas, or even creating simple content, they might not match the creativity and nuance of human writing just yet. Human writers bring their unique perspective, emotions, and experiences to the table, giving a personal touch that AI can't fully replicate. So, think of AI tools as valuable aids, but remember that the human touch is still essential in creating truly engaging and compelling content.

But I know there are more tools out there that can help with writing stories, building worlds, or even creating characters.

  2. ChatGPT: Awesome for brainstorming and generating story ideas.

  3. Writesonic: Works well for short stories and plot ideas.

  4. PerfectEssayWriter.ai: A helpful tool for writing stories and organizing ideas.

  5. AI Dungeon: Perfect for interactive, adventure-style stories.

  6. StoryLab.ai: Good for coming up with plots and storylines.

Hey everyone, I know this gets asked a lot, but with how fast AI tools evolve, I’d love to get some updated insights from users here:

What’s the best paid AI video generator right now in 2025?

I’ve tried a few myself, but I’m still on the hunt for something that offers consistent, high-quality results — without burning through credits like water. Some platforms give you 5–10 short videos per month, and that’s it, unless you pay a lot more.

Also: Are there any truly free or open-source alternatives out there? Something like Stable Diffusion but for video — even if it’s more technical or limited.

I’m open to both paid and free tools, but ideally looking for something sustainable for regular creative use.

Would love to hear what this community is using and recommending — especially anyone doing this professionally or frequently. Thanks in advance!

r/ChatGPT on Reddit: Best AI Tools for Content Creation and YouTube?
March 18, 2024 -

Hi everyone,

I’d love to know, for all the content creators out there – professional or hobbyist, are there any AI tools or software you swear by?

I’ll start!

I recently secured a job as a video creator and YouTube channel manager for a finance company. I’m responsible for the entire gamut of content creation, from pitching and ideation, all elements of production, all the way through to uploading and marketing. It ends up being a lot of work and far more time-consuming than I had anticipated. It's pretty overwhelming...

With YouTube going all-in on short-form content lately, I’ve had to dedicate additional time to repurposing content for YT shorts. It’s almost like creating the same video twice. One of my biggest pain points was having to source and edit B-roll for every video, which led me to search for something to speed up the process.

I ended up stumbling upon an AI tool called Hypernatural that fixed both problems by allowing me to automatically generate B-roll and also create ready-to-go shorts by linking or uploading an existing video. I'm only on YouTube at the moment, but videos can be repurposed for different platforms – TikTok, LinkedIn, or whatever else you happen to use.

Another feature is that it allows you to generate a script or use your own prompts to create a fully-fledged video with auto-generated captions, graphics, and impressively ‘non-AI’ sounding AI voiceovers. I believe it's powered by Elevenlabs, but that's less useful for me as I still write, produce, and voice all my own content.

I’m not looking for something to do my job for me, but I’m all about leveraging AI as part of the process. So, I'm very keen to find other useful tools that can speed up my workflow and supplement the many tasks involved in creating content.

Please share any suggestions of tools you’d recommend. I’m sure there are some other great tools I’ve yet to discover! I hope this post can serve as an ongoing list of recommendations for us all.

June 20, 2024 -

I would love some recommendations for AI tools to utilize for creating social media posts for some of my agency's clients.

Needs: caption generator, image generation/suggestions

Nice to haves: smart linking/tagging

One thing to note is that for one of these clients, we have an image guideline in place, so we are currently using templates for consistency across the various types of content we post on LinkedIn. For example, an blog title card for the blogs we post, webinar signup graphic, case study graphic, etc. It would be awesome to have a tool that can take a current template and insert the title for the new content while keeping color scheme and design consistent.

Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated!

I see your frustration, and it's completely valid. The hard truth is there's no "go-to AI copywriting tool" that will magically write great copy out of the box. The problem isn't the specific AI model you're using; it's the process. Most people treat these tools like a vending machine: put a prompt in, get a finished product out. That will always produce generic, soully garbage. You can get incredible results from almost any of the major models (I personally use Gemini because it connects directly to my Google Drive/Workspace), but you have to completely change your mindset. Stop thinking of it as a copywriter. Start thinking of it as an insanely fast research assistant and a junior writer that you need to train and direct. Your output quality is a direct reflection of your input quality. A single prompt, no matter how clever, is useless. The real work is the hours you put in before you ask it to write a single sentence. Here's a look at the actual workflow I use for a client's therapy practice—a field where nuance and authenticity are non-negotiable: Phase 1: Building the Knowledge Base (The "Brain") This is the most critical part and takes 90% of the effort. Deep Research: I gathered dozens of scientific research PDFs, academic articles, and internal training frameworks on developmental psychology and our specific therapeutic models. Organize Everything: All of these files go into a dedicated Google Drive folder. This becomes the AI's locked library. It can only pull information from these verified sources, which prevents it from hallucinating or pulling random, low-quality info from the web. Create the "Constitution": I wrote a master document that acts as the AI's core programming. It defines: The Persona & Voice: Who are we? What is our mission? What's our precise tone ("Rebellious Academic," for example)? What words do we use? What words do we never use? The Audience: Who are we talking to? What are their exact pain points and emotional states? What language do they use? (I pull this from analyzing relevant subreddits, forums, and competitor reviews). Phase 2: The Collaborative Writing Process Once the "brain" is built, writing an article is a multi-step collaboration. Sourcing: I start a new chat and my first prompt is always something like: "Using only the files in my '@Google Drive/Enlitens Knowledgebase' folder, find all relevant sources and quotes related to 'childhood social anxiety.'" Outline: The AI returns a list of my own verified sources. Then I say: "Based on those sources and our persona document, create a detailed outline for an article titled 'Why Your Kid Isn't 'Shy' - A New Guide to Social Anxiety.'" We go back and forth tweaking the flow and structure until the outline is perfect. Drafting: Only then do I ask it to write, usually section by section based on the approved outline. This gives me maximum control. Phase 3: Human Refinement The AI's draft is never the final product. It's a high-quality 85% solution. But it's an 85% that is built entirely on my research, grounded in my sources, and written in my voice. My job shifts from the agony of the blank page to the much easier task of editing, refining, and adding that final 15% of human nuance and storytelling. It's a total game-changer, but the work shifts from "prompting" to "architecting." You have to build the library, write the instruction manual, and strategically direct the tool. Do that, and you'll leave every competitor who's just plugging prompts into ChatGPT in the dust.
