Why buy an all-in-one computer?
An all-in-one computer, also known as an AIO PC is an excellent buy largely because of its design. It combines everything into one, except the keyboard and the mouse. That means it has a slimmer, more visually pleasing build that takes up less space but still offers excellent performance. What’s more, despite combining traditional PC components into a single, compact unit, all-in-one computers are surprisingly lightweight. Some weigh as little as 12 pounds. which makes them quite portable. In a nutshell, an all-in-one computer is like a laptop with added functionality. It allows you to save space without compromising on functionality.
What Is the Best Alternative to an All-in-One Computer?
The next time you're online and thinking that you need a bigger screen than your current laptop or tablet has, look at an all-in-one desktop. You may be surprised how much screen and power AIO PCs deliver for the money versus a like-priced laptop. Who would need an all-in-one computer?
I'm a computer science junior in college. I'd like to know what people think is the best brand of all-in-one desktops, excluding iMac (I love iMac, but the new M1 chip and macOS may hinder me in my degree/internships/early career). My budget is $1,500, I'd like the computer to last 5+ years.
I'm deciding between HP, Microsoft, Lenovo, and Dell. I don't really trust Dell because of past experiences. Right now I'm leaning towards HP Pavilion 24", but have never used a HP so I'm skeptical. Let me know what you guys think, I'm open to other suggestions!
Thank you!
