I need an app that pulls data and compares grocery prices at multiple stores so I can see what an item costs at multiple stores in one shot. This would be hard to achieve because some stores like aldi aren't online and I would need to have stores like dollar general, aldi and save a lot in my base. Autoscraping the price tags, as the sibling suggested, would be nice. However, in real retail the codes on the tags are regularly as small as possible and sometimes do not even correspond with the one on the product (don't know how this works). I used to manually keep track of where I can find the best price per unit for an item on an Excel sheet, but I wanted to know if there's an app/program that automatically tracks which grocery store has the best price for an item if I scan my receipt? Or something along those lines. It's been tedious for me to compare prices and update my own guide, so I haven't been keeping up with it. I've been considering switching from primarily shopping from Sprouts to Trader Joe's, but I believe the decision would be easier to make if I had a sort of price comparison app.
Much love to this subreddit! The tips I've read under other posts have been tremendously helpful, and I'm thankful anyone that write tips for this post too.
