I have most of what I need to get started backpacking this year (in the PNW) but haven’t figured out seating. What are the best (low cost) options? The mini folding chairs/stools all seem bulky, expensive, or no better than sitting on a log. Thinking about the newer crazy creek chairs if I can get them on clearance or used. Any advice is appreciated!:)
Hey everyone! I’m in the market for a lightweight, portable, but comfortable chair that I will be able to fit inside an Osprey Daylite Plus. For context, I’m going to a 4 day music festival so it would specifically be for this use case. There are multiple stages so I will be moving around to different spots throughout the day. I’ve done some research and narrowed it down to four options - Nemo Moonlite or the Moonlite Elite and either the Helinox Chair Zero or Zero Large. My main concern is how small each one will be packed down because I want to be able to fit it inside my backpack which will also have other things inside it (a full hydration bladder). I know the Helinox Chair Zero is the smallest option, but if the other options are not significantly larger when packed up, which one would be the comfiest? Any recommendations are welcome!
