Ive seen two people at Goodwill just ripping through the book section scanning everything. Looks like a handheld(smaller than a phone) that scans and is connected to a phone. I didn't see them checking the phone after every scan, so I can only assume one of two things is happening: either it will alert them at a certain price point, or it's all just going into a spreadsheet to look up later. The second option doesn't seem viable.

My question is, what would you call that software? I've searched and I only find library inventory software. Would it scan the books and search Amazon automatically? They didn't seem to be waiting for a search result. (As I left, he was scanning DVDs, so it's not strictly books)
