Pretty much the title. I could, hypothetically, hard wire them but I really prefer not to for a couple of reasons, unless the general consensus is that the battery operated LED lights are just truly not worth it.
My goals are to simply install the strip lights under and above the kitchen cabinets. Ideally, they would also be able to connect with my Google Home ecosystem.
Just wondering what the community thinks are the best options for this scenario.

You could get some stick-on copper foil tape and run 12V at low amperage up to the art piece. Mount some small terminal blocks at each end, then paint over the tape to make the wire disappear.
