High-quality cooling blankets can cost anywhere from $100 to $350, depending on their materials and construction. r/Bedding on Reddit: Good blankets for sweaty sleepers that aren’t made from animal products?
January 23, 2024 -
I sleep with my room very cold but I still sweat a lot at night due to a medication that I’m on. I recently switched from cotton to linen sheets and they are awesome, but I’m still getting sweaty and I think it’s because of my comforter. It is a down-alternative comforter that I received as a gift and I think the polyester material that it’s filled with is not breathable. Everyone suggests using a down comforter/duvet, but I am not comfortable using anything that comes from animals (please don’t judge me, it’s a personal choice). Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried blankets? A knitted cotton/linen blanket will breath and can still feel heavy. Layering as necessary; the comforter can be a decorative topper to protect your bed during the day that your fold to the foot of the bed for sleeping that way if you get cold it’s handy too.

Try a dehumidifier next to your bed too! That’s really helped me (my hormones cause me to sweat like that and it’s helped a TON)
