Why are you using it with a lav when it can just clip on and act as a mic. Because you're not going to have lavs that are clip on that don't have a cable unless you use the Rode Go wireless or DJI mic or similar. The transmitters themselves also have a microphone. I’m the digital media coordinator/videographer for a medium sized company and I film the CEO quite often. He is requesting we purchase a completely cordless lav mic (we currently use the RODE wireless Go) but he does not want to deal with the cord from the mic to the pack when filming on the go. I have been searching Amazon and most seem to be pretty cheap (less than $40) with questionable sound quality and are mostly made for connecting to an iphone/android. I have found a few on the high-end range such as the Shure Movemic two receiver kit, or the Saramonic Blink 500 Pro B8 but those run upwards of $500. I am looking for something between the 2 extremes with decent sound quality, and a reciever I can connect via aux to our DSLR or camcorder. I’m a bit new to this industry, so any suggestions would be appreciated!

Also, wireless versions provide more mobility. A certain clip-on wireless microphone that I personally use has served me well with its excellent sound capture and comfortable clip.
