I've used this exact one for about eight (?) years. Are there better? Sure. Does it work perfectly fine every single time? Absolutely. -- I've used it hooked to an old Sansui 6060 and now to a Yamaha AS501, works perfectly fine with both. I'll put it this way, if this one crapped out today, I'd be ordering another one. I am looking advice on how to add some kind of wireless audio capability to an existing audio system for a family member. Best cabling choice from stereo receiver to Bluetooth transmitter
What's the best output connection method from my 1970s stereo receiver to a bluetooth transmitter? Best Bluetooth Receiver for Stereo
Bluetooth is a lossy transmission connection for audio (for practical purposes — AptX Lossless isn’t, but there aren’t that many senders and receivers for it yet on the market). Depending on what you want to do, you would probably be much better off with a streamer (like WiiM Pro ), than with Bluetooth. More on reddit.com

Bluetooth receiver | What Hi-Fi? Forum
Evening guys, hope everyone is ok :) I have a relatively old Marantz Melody Maker (it’s crazy how things become obsolete). Want to add a Bluetooth receiver as Airplay is annoying and I mostly use Spotify. Anyone got any recommendations? Want one with aptx ideally. Thanks in advance! More on forums.whathifi.com

r/vintageaudio on Reddit: Best Bluetooth receiver for vintage receiver?
January 24, 2022 -

Hello! I have a Kenwood KR-4400 I am using for my turntable. For everything else, I am using an Aluratek universal Bluetooth receiver from Best Buy. I plug that into the AUX.

However, I noticed that it may not be the best quality receiver out there. Even though I am about 6 ft away from it, it would sometimes cut off audio if someone walked nearby or if something was blocking it.

Any other recommendations for Bluetooth receivers? I liked the Aluratek because of how small and inconspicuous it looked, but I am open for other ideas. Thanks!

Solved! - Best cabling choice from stereo receiver to Bluetooth transmitter | Tom's Guide Forum
December 11, 2019 - It is fixed volume so you won't overload the transmitter input the way you might with the headphone output. Speaker output would require a speaker to line level converter. Another advantage is you can use the wired speakers at the same time as the BT speaker. The volume of the wired speakers won't affect the BT speaker volume. ... It does not matter since once you hit the bluetooth transmitter you will loose whatever signal you had coming to it.
