Anyone have any good long-term recommendations?
I've used Shokz for the last two years and had enough of them, serious quality issues with them.
I'm also not interested in Beats or Airpods.
Just want some decent bone or air conduction earphones that are going to last.

I don’t know if you have seen Econox, yet, but they have good reviews. The link is for their Air single-ear style, and they also have their Pro model that conducts through both sides. I haven’t tried any, but am in the market like you and they just popped up in my feed.

I don’t think bone conduction headphones are best for podcasts, no. However, the under-emphasized bass response of most bone conduction headphones doesn’t affect podcasts (spoken word content) as much as music.
