February 29, 2024Traveling to Denver in late April! Looking for a boutique hotel.
Without a hesitation: The Oxford Hotel . Killer location near parks, rail station, food and drinks. Got a few for you in the micro-chain category. In downtown Denver, you can do the Hotel Monaco . It is part of a micro-chain (dozen hotels), but still, pretty solid. It's got an amazing Italian restaurant built into it as well, Panzano . Another micro-chain (4 hotels) is Magnolia . If you want to stay a 15 min drive from Denver, but be at the base of the mountains, try the Golden Hotel . A great microbrew, Golden City Brewery , 2 blocks away (not to mention the free Coors Brewery Tour w/ 3x free beers). It's right on Clear Creek, which lives up to its name. Beautiful place to spend some time, while still being only 15 miles from downtown. A local recommendation from me is the Denver Beer Co. . It's a great brewery that a few of us Redditors frequent. Hi All!
My husband and I are flying into Denver at the beginning of October for our anniversary vacation. We're heading down to Colorado Springs and have lodging booked there, but want to spend one night in another area, preferably somewhere not crazy far from Red Rocks, which is on our list to visit.
Does anyone have any recommendations for any great boutique hotels in the area? Bonus if it has a great view and a hot tub. I've done a lot of research but haven't found anything that quite fits the bill yet. I know sometimes smaller independent properties aren't advertised as heavily, so thought I'd see if anyone has any recommendations.
Feel free to throw out any other favorites you might have in the Denver area or CS! We always like to find the places the locals like.
