Wow people are recommending 1000 watt PSUs for a system that pulls max 250 watts. Just get a cx650 or cv650 from Corsair on Amazon or MSI a650bn. Can comfortably drop down to 550 or 450 with a system like that. Tier C power supplies are still fine for budget systems. Answer from Deleted User on reddit.com

Not building something extremely powerful, will pair it with Ryzen 5 5500/5600 and RX6600 or 6700.
Preferably not above 100 dollars, also efficiency doesn't really matter, I just don't want it to destroy my PC.

RM750x/RM750e regularly goes under $100 with deals. Tbh with $100 you can get tier B or even some tier A PSU. So just check the PSU tierlist then check the price of each on Amazon/other retailer.

I have a 1050ti GPU and an i5-6500 I'm on a budget, my power supply is broke so I need a new one, I'm sorry if this is something that gets asked a lot but I don't know which would be the best, I was thinking of the EVGA 450w bronze power supply that is 80+ bronze not that I know what that means if someone could explain I would appreciate it and thank you in advance

When you want to stick to a budget... you should always place quality over price. EVGA are my go to brand for all PSU's, simply because I respect the quality of their products and their customer service is excellent and they go above and beyond to treat their customers properly. I currently have 3 EVGA PSU's, an 850W G5, a 650W G2 and a 650W GQ across my gaming, server and work systems. Can't recommend them enough personally... so grab the best quality one you can afford. Bronze/silver/gold/platinum are more of a marketing term regarding the efficiency of the PSU. So a bronze is about 80% efficient and if gradually put under load from 0-100% it will always be 80% efficient... as you go up those tiers, the efficiency increases... and to simply things... if you've got a 450w power supply that's 80% efficient. You could expect to get 80% of that power (some are over specced so that you can reach 450w not 80% of 450w)... again... simplifying the jargon, not trying to provide exact details to explain it. Are you planning any future upgrades... a newer GPU for example... if so, you might want to consider going way over the spec of the PSU you 'need' now and budget for what you might need down the road. GPU's and CPU's are getting more power hungry. A 450w isn't going to be enough if you were to jump to a more powerful CPU/GPU later on. If you'll never go above say a 3060 GPU or an i3/i5 or Ryzen 5 level CPU... then A 650W should be your minimum level... if you may get your hands on a higher spec card... I'd suggest an 850w minimum card should you ever get to a 4070/4080/6900/7900 level card.
