Is it possible to get your Citi Bank Best Buy Credit Card account number online?
I need access to my account number, but I’ve never had a physical card for here; it’s always been the store card. I can walk in and show my ID, input my SSN and I can make purchases. I could do with online or over the phone.
I recently was approved for a BT- 0% for balance transfers made in the first 30 days. I was dumb about it, and I didn’t request a physical card before I was approved. Now I’m worried about timing out of the offer. Best Buy and Citi Bank are being zero help in the matter. I’ve been hung up on and yelled at. I requested a physical card, verified that the information was correct. I waited about 2 weeks and I called back in- and it was sent to the wrong address.
I very much doubt they are specifically messing with me, I’m not that paranoid, but it certainly feels that way. Do you guys have any advice for me? Ever been in a similar situation?
Hey everyone, I could use some advice on how to resolve this ongoing issue with Best Buy and my credit card.
Here's the situation:
I made a purchase at Best Buy and applied for a Best Buy credit card during checkout. The application was approved, and I completed the purchase.
I was supposed to receive 10% back in rewards, but I only got 5%.
When my card arrived, I noticed the membership ID on the back of the card was different from my Best Buy account.
I contacted Best Buy support to resolve the issue of the card not being linked to my account and to get the missing rewards. They created a support case and promised a resolution within 2-3 days.
It's been over a week with no progress. When I called back, they created a new support case, but still, nothing has been fixed.
Another issue now is that because my card isn’t linked to my membership ID, my account shows I’m not eligible for any ongoing credit card promotions.
Has anyone else faced this issue? My main concerns are:
Getting the card linked to my membership ID so that I'm eligible for current promotions.
Getting the missing 10% rewards applied to my account.
Would visiting a Best Buy store help, or should I keep pushing through customer support? Any advice on how to escalate this would be greatly appreciated!
