Physical TV Warranty - Best Buy Canada
It depends on the warranty. I can give my history with BB USA tv warranty. About 3 years ago I bought my dad and step mom a Westinghouse HD 45 inch tv with roku. They asked if I wanted the 2 year warranty on it. I said yes for some reason. After about a year and a half it started to go bad. I searched through for my online and instore paperwork. I went in to the store, they said I had to do it online. BB online department took a bit to get back to me and said they would first have to try to repair it. I said I could take it to the local BB store I bought it from. They said a guy had to come to their house.
To me it seemed like they dragged it on to almost say "Oh now you are out of time." Finally a guy came and took it apart and said it was the main board that neeed to be replaced. But they could get no Westinghouse parts anymore. So after that BB sent me a gift card number for the exact price of the tv. A week later my dad and I went to BB in town and got a samsung tv the same size. It was more so we had to pay the difference after the card balance.
