Should I purchase the V8 absolute or the V8 Animal cordless to remove pet hair from hardwood floors?
Is there any difference in the power head that makes the AnimalV8 more effective removing pet hair?
Will you provide a side by side comparison? null
Is the V8 still the best buy in terms of quality and performance?
Is the new Dyson V8 Animal cordless the best cordless Dyson for a fully carpeted house with several long-haired pets? null
Which version of Dyson V8 to get? Confused with best buy model for example
Many of the differences are just color and accessories. Some stores get exclusive color/accessory combinations.
For $300 I recommend the LG CordZero A916 $299 @ Costco. I recommend it over the V8 because it comes with 2 removable batteries and a charging stand/wall mount included.
Does that help?

I see way too many posts on here about how dyson has gone downhill, newer vacuums are failing or breaking after limited use, customer service is terrible.
But the V8 I thought was tried and true, is this still true?
I want to buy a dyson that will last me for years with no worries that it could break and be out $400.
Which model should I get if I want the least amount of worry and know it will be performing for years?
UPDATE:
I went with LG Cordzero with the charging stand and extra battery as it was on sale for $400 and I am loving it!
So ..anyone knows what is different from the best buy version called just V8 vs the absolute and the animal? Somehow the BB version is $350 on Black Friday sale whole the absolute is $280 at other stores. Thanks!
