Hello, I’m looking for patio furniture that will hopefully last me a couple of years. I’ve looked at Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc and noticed that all of the furniture is just random brands from China. Does anyone have recommendations of websites, brands that I can look for, etc where I could find some patio furniture? I’m open to looking for furniture second hand if you guys have brand recommendations that I should look for.

The furniture will be sitting on our uncovered deck. The sun doesn’t directly hit the patio, but it would definitely get rained on.

Good lord, I had no idea 1) Patio furniture is this expensive, and 2) That the material is this crucial to your decision.

I went to Lowe’s and found this set that I really liked. I initially wanted a sectional but our friends/neighbors have one and I just don’t find it all that comfortable. Apparently the major downside to this set is that it is made of “steel” with no other description on if it’s stainless, galvanized or powder-coated. My SO is completely ruling it out because it is not aluminum.

This is fine if steel is really that bad, but I cannot find anything that is not $3k-$5k. I don’t need something that’ll last 10 years but I also don’t want something that will start looking like shit after 4-5 years either. Any recommendations on brands, stores or material is greatly appreciated.
