June 22, 2025 - The HDR mode is highly configurable and allows you to choose how many photos ProCamera App should take, and you can even adjust the exposure bracketing manually. It supports saving photos in classic RAW and Apple ProRAW format.

This is by far the best Pro Camera app in the App Store. I have been using this when it first came out on the App Store for several years now and it just keeps getting better every year. Now with the iPhone 14 pro max 48 megapixel camera it’s just as good as the pro dslr cameras.

All the 3rd party camera apps I know that can shoot ProRaw can also shoot plain Raw. ... I currently have the iPhone 14 but not the PRO version, so ProRAW is not an option at this point. Will be upgrading to the iPhone 15 PRO when it is released just looking into options at this point.

April 16, 2023 - Camera+ is a free app that’s simple to use and adds a lot of manual controls that the iPhone’s native camera app just doesn’t have. Essentially, it gives you similar manual controls to as if you were using a mirrorless camera or DSLR. You can adjust the exposure, shutter speed, ISO, focus, zoom and white balance. You can also choose to shoot in full manual or shutter priority (the latter of which is nice stepping stone to learning how to shoot manual). Camera+ also has a macro mode (which you can use even if you don’t have an iPhone 13 Pro or 14 Pro), built-in editing tools, as well as other features that will help teach you how shoot better photos.
