ok a little background:
for my birthday about 6 months ago i got a 2nd hand G27 wheel and i drift in assetto with it but i really like the look of forza, carx street etc... but they all cost alot of money and i dont have too much.
i got JDM: Rise of the Scorpion but ive finished that game and then i got the forza horizon 4 demo on the microsoft store but deleted it after a week because doing the same thing over and over again because its doesnt save progress was annoying.
so to get to the point does anyone know and free (or very cheap) open world racing games that support a wheel and have decent graphics?

Save them to your steam wishlist. They all go on sale frequently for cheap. I bought the crew 2 for $1 not long ago

Live for speed has a time unlimited online free demo (not open world, some maps are a little, but you'll enjoy this game). If you're in to cars you'll enjoy My summer car, that's pretty cheap usually on steam.

Hey! Well, if you don’t like ACC for now, I doubt that you will like any other real SIM for now. I understand for Iracing, I was on the same boat. 1k5 hours on AC and 300 on ACC but I went all in Iracing to participate at the 24h and even small division is great compétition fun. You won’t find it anywhere else but give you some time :p If you want to stick to kind of Simcade, give Project Cars a go, FH5 is great fun but on controller for me. F1 games as well if this is your thing, Dirt series for Rally, not the 2.0 But give AC some time, you will end enjoy it if you are into simracing 🏎️ More on reddit.com
