My daughter really loved cheaper by the dozen and cheaper by the dozen 2, as well as movies like Are we there yet. Just mostly looking for Family comedy's with that 2000s feeling. Daughters about 9 and I'm late 20s if that helps get an idea for suggestions.
Looking for classic 90s comedies to share with my kids. Weโve watched all the Sandler films. They loved Zoolander. Loved Napoleon Dynamite. Looking for all your suggestions. Nothing too raunchy. Theyโre 14 and 12. They love inappropriate humour.

My kids and I love to have our family nights and we all watch a lot of movies together. We love funny the most and are hoping to find some not so commonly known movies (we have watched a lot of them lol). Please, any kind of funny as long as it's kid friendly. A couple cuss words doesn't bother us.
Thanks for all the responses, guys. I'm glad to say I see some I have never heard of and look forward to finding and watching them!
What's a good movie I can watch as an adult (20F) with my family members (mom, dad, and 30F sister) without it being a movie for children? Whenever I try and search for comedy family movies into google I get a bunch of animated movies.
I'm looking more for movies like The Princess Bride, Mrs. Doubtfire, Coming to America, Rush Hour, Meet the Parents, Jumanji, Matilda, Are We There Yet, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Big (Tom Hanks), Evan Almighty, Step Brothers, Beverly Hills Cop, Blue Streak, Bad Boys, etc. Movies that are really light-hearted, have some action or adventure, and really make you laugh would be good.
I'm *not* looking for movies like Scary Movie 2, Pineapple Express, Euro Trip, or American Pie if you get my drift. It would obviously be kind of uncomfortable to watch these kinds of movies with my family in the room.
(Please note my family has already seen every Studio Ghibli movie, which we loved).
I see lot of comedy movies listed, but mostly adult comedies, or really childish ones. I would like to watch one with the kids, where we can laugh out loud and hurt our bellies. Please suggest a list of atleast a few where I can pick one or two.
I would like to see any comedy for family I have seen what about bob and liked it if there's any movies like it love to hear your suggestions.
As a family we enjoy watching movies alot .. I want something entertaining and family friendly so the kids can watch too .. (husband doesnt enjoy animated movies)
We watched many movies with the children .. they enjoyed things like
Men in black
Back to the future
Nach libre
School of rock
Mostly funny with simple plot movies
Any suggestions?
Hey everyone!
I'm doing a movie night with friends (ages 20-30). I'd like to request some comedy movie suggestions. Do you know of any that will have everyone laughing out loud? These movies should preferably have no to mild Sex, Nudity and Profanity
Thank you!
im looking for truly funny movies to watch with my family, swearing ok mild nudity ok etc just nothing truly scary or messed up in this category previously enjoyed: the naked gun uhf the peanut butter solution
Hey! My family is looking for some new movies to watch together this summer. Weโre big fans of comedy (some of our favorite TV shows are Arrested Development and The Office, just to give you a sense of our humor). Weโre looking for fun, well-written comedy movies that arenโt too inappropriate or uncomfortable to watch as a family (kids are 18).
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
My son has a great sense of humor; he can laugh at sarcastic or completely silly things and understands many puns. As a Star Wars fan, I've of course already watched "Spaceballs" with him.
I'm somehow missing those cool, funny movies these days where you can really laugh at nonsense. What can you recommend? Doesn't matter if it's new or old.
How about these classics: Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Naked Gun, Life of Brian, Police Academy, Dumb and Dumber, My Big Fat Greek Wedding,...
I've seen them all many times, even as a child, but it's been a while, and I honestly don't know anymore if they've aged well.
I'm about to watch Top Secret! with them unless someone has a better idea? Whattaya think?
I'm trying to capitalize on the little time I have by showing them the funny stuff from my youth however I'm noticing a lot of boobs in the 80's stuff which one of my kids would NOT find funny...
A little too young for Dumb and Dumber I think? Maybe not the 14 yr old...
EDIT : ended up watching Top Secret! 14 boy found it funnier than 11 girl. I fast forwarded thrice ( the whole anal intruder scene, 2 people on beach, then when the cow gets sucked off) there is also naked boobs (on a calendar) which was a first (when they get to the doctor in the prison) for both. 11 girl actually handled it well but I still didn't preesh, 14 boy was totally fine with it.
There are also a bunch of gags I forgot about and some I never even noticed before (cows stepping over binocular outline as they approach the stronghold)
Have we not met before Monsier?
What phony dog poop? Hilarious
Hey guys I'm looking for comedy movies that I can watch with my family. They are pretty conservative and when a movie has sex scenes in it things get a bit awkward. The occasional kisses are okay but anything beyond that is too much for them. It would be much appreciated if you could suggest some movies that fit the description !
I have watched lot of comedy movies and i feel like i am out of it, please suggest me some
For now : The package, Superbad, We are the millers, The fall guy, the nice guy are my favourties
Movies like the Earnest series, The Mask, and more recently we have watched Paul Blart: Mall Cop. My 8yr old was dying laughing. The more physical comedy the better. Thanks!
Without gore and disturbing scenes. Like Rush Hour, Bean, Johnny English.
I'm looking for something like Rush Hour, John English or Pink Panther, something that has action, but is also entertaining and fun to watch (since I tend to get bored with purely action movies). I would also like for the comedy part to not be centered around sex jokes cuz that'd be awkward.
