I’m curious what are some of the best sales companies to work for?
A big bonus for me is if a person isn’t performing well, how would the company respond to the person? Would they give them a PIP immediately? Or would they try and help out and see what’s wrong?
Company culture and benefits are huge bonuses as well as work environment. (Remote, On-site) etc… finding a company that has all these and pays well is rare.
What kind of companies are out there?
What are the best companies to work for?
What is considered the “best” sales jobs?
What are the top 5 sales careers to pursue by salary and or ease of entry?
based off a looooooot of reading.
1a. Banking. Banking is extremely difficult to break into and can pay 8 figures/year at the highest levels. You almost need to be set up young to get in. Also have to grind out the analyst years which can be shitty
1b. Tech. Degree and grab a BDR/SDR job at a tech company and move into account manager. 7 figures/year at the highest levels. Can take work to break into but 100% possible for almost anyone. You have to have a college degree though.
3 Med device. (500k??????) At the higher levels? College degree + 2-3 yrs B2B from what I hear.
4 Anything in the enterprise category selling big tickets items to other companies. Anything companies use someone usually sells it. Technical sales can fall here (for example, selling things to power plants). If I had to guess it seems like ~200-250k is what a good seasoned rep can expect.
5 Other random b2b things.??
Real estate can also be good (Especially CRE from what I hear). I left that out however because most agents crash and burn. IMO the barrier to entry is set a little too low.

I went from three years of real estate to a SAAS BDR role. Love the work/life balance and the skills building. Go to the stickies posts and how to guides in this sub and follow what they say and you’ll land a SAAS role. The key is to mass apply. I put in over 100 applications and five interviews to find the company I liked. This sub is literally how I got the job so you can too!
