I have a ton of really nice clothes but no time to list on eBay or poshmark. I was wondering if there were any reasonable consignment or resale shops that don’t low ball you on your items in the area?

Uptown cheapskate is good if you want low effort. I consigned things there several years ago, and they pay you up front instead of waiting for the item to sell. I felt kinda lowballed, but not enough to not sell my things anyway, cuz it was fast, easy, and still on the low end of fair. This isn’t the place for a really nice jacket/shoes/bag etc., you won’t get paid what it’s worth, it’s better for “I have 50 shirts I want money for right now, let’s make this happen.”

My girlfriend and I are coming down for 3 days Wednesday June 12th-Friday June 14th and we are looking to go thrifting. There are so many thrift store and consignment shops around Columbus but I’m unsure of the best ones. I would be looking for more second hand designer/higher end men’s clothes and apparel for cheaper (I used to stop by rag-o-Rama when I visited) as well as collectibles such as legos or small things that would be good gifts. I have found designer brand sunglasses and watches at some Ohio thrift or volunteers of America down there but do not remember which ones.

I have a leather armchair purchased a year ago that I need to get rid of. It was never used. It's ~$1200-$1700 new online, depending on where you look.
I've tried fb marketplace and CL with no luck.
Are there any furniture consignment shops you've had good luck with? I don't love the idea of paying 50% fee to get it sold, but if it gets it gone, then I'm open to it.
