They authenticate using some bogus AI app that is not good at detecting fakes. Plus their prices are ridiculous - I once saw a Zara dress being sold for $40 lmao. Also maybe I’m just unlucky, but their staff have consistently been rude and unhelpful. I once walked in and wasn’t greeted, then the person who walked in right after me was warmly greeted? Another time I was asking for assistance and another customer interrupted. The sales associate immediately ignored me to help them. Sorry ranting but I love a great thrift and consignment shop and desperately wanted to like this place but it is just mediocre.

Like someone else mentioned, Buffalo Exchange is a good bet. They have two locations, one in Allston and another in Davis Square - they definitely won't take everything (usually like 20% of what I bring), but definitely worth a shot. For women's clothing, Covet in Southie is also a good bet. Especially if you have any mid-higher end pieces and nicer handbags. i've been to urban renewals (122 brighton ave allston) a couple times and i love it! it has huge amounts of clothes and a large room of furniture/household items. the only other place in boston i've been is buffalo exchange (180 harvard ave allston), which is much smaller and a little pricier, but usually has a nice selection.
