DOES THE STORE SELL CONSIGNMENT ITEMS EXCLUSIVELY?
Our constantly changing inventory is exclusively consignment however, we do consign items from the Denver Design Center and national companies that consign new overstock furniture items. We are “picky” about the items we consign, and they must be in “like new’ condition and in current style. Our inventory changes every day, so frequent trips to the store are always advised.
DOES THE STORE PICK UP MY CONSIGNMENT ITEMS?
We work with third party delivery companies who have the experience and the equipment required to pick up your items and protect your items and your home in the process. You will contract with them directly. After you receive an acceptance letter from us to consign your items contact a delivery company (we can provide recommendations) and arrange a mutually agreeable time to pick up your items. Be sure to contact our warehouse manager (720-353-4889) and let us know when to expect your items!
HOW DOES THE CONSIGNMENT PROCESS WORK?
The easiest and best way for you to consign is to simply take photos with your phone (or digital camera) of the items you want to consign. Email them to [email protected]. We will let you know ASAP if we think we can do a good job for you (i.e. get the most money for your items). The more pictures of an item, the better. Take pictures from every angle and be sure to include close-up pictures of scratches, etc. We will ask you to confirm that your items:
- Come from a smoke free environment
- Have no tears, deep scratches or other damage
- Have no pet damage, stains, or hair
- Are in “good and almost new” condition
- Show no sign of fading or discoloration
After we receive items for sale we prepare a receiving sheet that lists the items received and the beginning price for each item. If you have questions about the receiving sheet, please let us know immediately after you receive the email. If you disagree with the pricing, now is the time to let us know. Remember, the price is reduced 20% every 30 days until the consignment period ends.
I’m looking to decorate my apartment. If there are any recommendations for cool consignment/furniture stores etc please let me know!
Looking to buy a nice mid-century leather couch. The bargain hunter in me knew all the best spots around my hometown but I’ve been here less than a year and not sure where to begin.
Open to all suggestions: I’m the kind of person that will wake up at 4am to drive to a small warehouse 2 hours away to bid on something if it’s the right piece at the right price.
