What do chefs like as gifts?
Chefs often enjoy receiving gifts that help them improve their cooking. While you can always give them cooking tools to upgrade their kitchen (we found some great options above!), gifting a cooking class is another great option.
“I think it’s a great way to experiment with new flavors and new flavor pairings and different ways of incorporating food that you didn’t think about earlier,” says Claudia Dionne, charcuterie board manager at Three Little Pigs Charcuterie in New York City.
She admits that she's always trying to “level up” her cooking game says. “For example, people don’t even know that you can actually incorporate paté into beef wellington.”
What do you get someone with a new kitchen?
While every chef would benefit from a kitchen knife, a pot and a pan, countertop appliances can expedite the cooking process. Bonalewicz has tried so many cooking appliances that he has to keep them in storage.
Consider gifting someone with a new kitchen one of Bonalewicz’s most-used countertop appliances: a rice cooker, a stand mixer, an air fryer or blender. He loves his Vitamix blender, which he says, “could blend a concrete block.”
My boyfriend is graduating and I need to buy him a gift. He is starting next term on a culinary course but in his mind he is already a pro. I know he would get excited over a kitchenware gift, so I’m looking for suggestions.
I thought about some type of knife sharpener but idk what to buy… a stone or one of those devices?
Any suggestions welcome!
My friend needs help getting a present for her dad who loves cooking. He loves to cook food from around the world. I don’t know where to start, I’m sure if he loves cooking so much he’d have all the tools he needs. Any suggestions?
