Ryzen 7 5800X3D and an Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 Black using those AM4 offset brackets and Arctic MX-6 thermal paste mine idles at 28.6c and never goes above 67.8c in anything benchmarks or gaming. My motherboard is an Asus Tuf Gaming x570-Plus WiFi and my for memory G Skill Trident Z Neo cl14 3600MHz 4x8gb at 1.45 volts then overclocked to cl14 3733mhz 4x8gb at 1.47500 volts idles at 26.8c and never goes above 28.9c with direct ram cooling using a Corsair 120mm fan pointing right at the ram modules fully stable. A Samsung 980 Evo m.2 1TB with a Western Digital SSD 500gb for storage and an Nvidia RTX 4070 TI Super on a Asus Tuf 165 hertz 31 inch 1440p monitor and powering it all is a Corsair rm850 A Plus PSU fully modular connected the extra 4 pin CPU cable next to the 8 pin CPU but it also helps a lot to keep my AC in my room at 69 degrees 24/7. The dark rock pro 4 has the worst installation of any CPU cooler that I have done so far, but has thr best noise to temp ratio. If you want best air cooler performance the NH-D15 it is. If you want the most silent one eith good performance the dark rock pro 4 it is. If you want the best value with good cooling and decent noise level the Scythe Fuma 2 seems to be great (I only used the scythe Ninja 5 which akready was vers silent jn an I5).
