I have a house cleaning business, newly opened and would like to bring along a corded stick lightweight vacuum. I am thinking of the shark power detect ultra light stick vacuum. Any other options? Budget $300 .
I’m in the market for a good corded vacuum, ideally around $150, but I’m willing to stretch to $200 if necessary. I live in a small two story apartment with two small dogs that shed, a Pomeranian mix and a terrier mix. No kids, just me and my boyfriend. I usually do a quick sweep before vacuuming, unless I’m feeling lazy. I’m specifically looking for a stick vacuum since I have to carry it up and down the stairs. I was considering the Shark Rocket Pro DLX from Lowe’s for $159.99, but I’ve read mixed reviews and heard that Shark isn’t a favorite on here.

I want something really lightweight and I like how stick vacuums take up less space and are easier to maneuver. I've been using the Bissell Featherweight so far. Super cheap and convenient, but horrible suction. I just want something with a really powerful suction. No budget. Has to be corded, though. I have a Dyson as well that I don't use because the battery life drives me crazy. Thanks!
Looking for a good compact stick vaccuum like the dyson line, but corded. I don't want to have to throw the vaccuum out when the battery dies or have to buy new batteries as each one dies over time.
I know canister vaccums from brands like miele are usually recommended, but I wouldn't have any space to keep a canister vacuum, and I prefer the convenience of a stick vacuum for quick cleanups.
Any recommendations?
Preferably under $150. Two bedroom carpeted(medium height) apartment, no pets, no allergies. Don’t have any hard to reach spots. The cheaper the better!
I'm a residential house cleaner, and I have been searching for MONTHS (probably over a year at this point) for the perfect corded stick vac that can withstand everyday use. I'm open to light weigh regular vacs also, I just can't load/unload and carry a super heavy vac everyday due to arthritis. I'm currently using a Bissell Powerglide Petslim corded, and it WOULD be my holy grail- if the hose wouldn't have split. Please Please send me your suggestions!!! Thanks so much 🙏
My new house has hardwood, tile and area rugs - no carpet. So I’m in the market for a cordless stick vacuum. Should I splurge and buy a Dyson? If so, which one? Or should I get a Shark instead? If you have a stick vacuum you love I’d love to know what it is. Thanks!
I have two giant dogs and 3 kids and lots of hardwood floors. I need a vacuum that can have a small enough detachment to really vacuum a couch (pet hair) and daily hardwood/low pile area rugs (like ruggable). I say corded because I don’t want to deal with the battery that eventually doesn’t stay as charged as it once did. I’d like to stay below $300
Thank you!!
Hi Everyone, I am looking to buy for a good and reliable corded vacuum for once or twice in a week heavy cleaning day (not for every day use, for that we have a cordless stick). I started looking for options and there are SO many to choose from. So looking for some recommendations in the community. Just for some background, we recently moved into a 4 bed house from a 2 bed apartment. We have both hardwood and carpet in the house. For days when we want all vacuuming to be done at once, stick vacuum of course is not going to last. It worked great in an apartment but now we need something more powerful. Which brands/models would you recommend? Also, bagless or bagged models should I go for? I am looking for a decent price range, I can go to around $600 but definitely not $1000+. Thank you for any advice and recommendations you can provide.
PS - we don’t have any pets.
Is there a good sealed vacuum that is stick and corded? I understand cordless generally suck but what about corded? I have severe mold allergies and can't move so need something to pick up spore and mycotoxins. The most important thing is good maneuverability because the house is pretty cluttered with lots of furniture. House is rugs and hardwood. Kitchen linoleum. Mom is elderly and really wants a stick. Thanks for any recommendations!
Got a Dyson and it doesn’t suck well unless is on max mode but the battery only lasts 7 minutes before is completely dead and you can’t use it while plugged (like wtf). The floor piece gets a lot of hair tangle and once a month I have to open it up to clean which at this point I’m over it.
Is there stick vacuum that is corded and the blades doesn’t get tangled?
Carpet and hardwood. Price: sub 200 if possible
I have a Henry and I'm sick of lugging the massive fucker everywhere.
Looking for something small but powerful for my professional cleaning
I have sadly concluded that batteries do, in fact, die....
Thanks in advance in any advice!
I am purchasing from Germany and my budget is around 50~150€. I mostly use it on hard flooring, and occasionally on carpet/clothes sofas. I am finding a good vacuum cleaner that doesn't get thrown out of the trash for having a dead battery. I also dislike the idea of having the battery to be finished halfway through my vacuuming activities. So no battery powered vacuum cleaner.
But when it comes to corded vacuum cleaner, they always have this large and sluggish vacuuming dustbin, that its just a hassle to move it around. Hence a stick vacuum cleaner would fit perfectly for me.
Can someone suggest me something that is not produced by some random suspicious China brand. I found a Black and Decker BXVMS600E that fits my description, but I would love to have more choices to pick from.
I'm having trouble finding a product with these specs (I don't want cordless due to added cost and limited runtime).
The only model I've found is the Shark Stratos Ultralight https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B2CTWVJ6/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza which has a scented smell eliminating element that I don't want.
Can someone recommend a product? Thank you,
