For mostly hard floors, I’ve had a good time with the Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum. It adjusts suction depending on what it senses, so it doesn’t overdo it on smooth surfaces. Works fine for picking up pet hair too without blowing it around. It’s nice not needing to swap tools just to move between rooms. More on reddit.com

Depends on your setup, but I really like when a vacuum helps you see hidden dust. The Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum has built-in headlights on the nozzle that reveal dirt you’d never notice otherwise. It’s oddly satisfying watching all the stuff you’d normally miss just light up as you go.

Depends on what you’re cleaning most often, but I’ve had good luck with the Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum. It bends mid-wand to reach under furniture without crawling around, which I didn’t know I’d appreciate until I used it. It’s handy if your space has low sofas or beds where dust bunnies love to camp out.

Next month I am moving into a 1 bedroom apartment, but due to the circumstances stances I’m not sure what type of floor the whole apartment is but I’m sure there is a mix of laminate and carpet. I stubble across these two shark vacuums and just don’t know. Please help. For some reference I do have long hair that gets everywhere and may eventually get a dog.
The first one is Shark Pet Cordless Stick Vacuum with Anti-Allergen Complete Seal - IX141H it’s on sale at target for 199.99 but was originally 259.99.
The second one is Shark Pet Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum with MultiFLEX, Blue, IZ340H which is on sale at Walmart for 199.99 but originally 329.99.

Yeah, we hate sharks here, lol. Some of the cheaper vacuums we tend to recommend are the simplicity Jill and the Eureka Mighty Mite or the hoover performance complete bagged vacuum.
