What are the best credit cards for credit scores above 800?
What are the best credit cards?
What are the best low interest credit cards for excellent credit?
I’ve been using the same credit card since I started building credit. I’ve always paid it off monthly, so having a particularly “good” card has never really mattered to me.
I’m solidly into the 800s now, and I’m curious if getting a better card would do anything for me. Is it worth looking into getting something different?
Eta: I still plan on using it only for petty purchases and paying it off monthly. Also annual fees are gonna be a pretty hard no for me
Hey Reddit credit card experts!
I'm recently out of college and just started my first full-time job, feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the credit card options out there. Currently, I have a Discover IT and Amex Blue Cash Preferred, but I'm hungry for more rewards and points to fuel my future adventures.
I explored a few options but got stuck:
Bilt Rewards: Seems tempting, but being remote for now, renting isn't on the horizon for the next 7 months.
Amex Gold: Sounds great, but not sure if I can maximize its value for everything.
Chase Sapphire Preferred: Intriguing, but unsure if it aligns with my spending habits. ❓
On top of that, I'm actually contemplating downgrading my Blue Cash Preferred to the Everyday option.
Here's the scoop on me:
Credit Score: 750+ (not bad, right?)
Spending Habits: Groceries, dining, occasional travel (hoping to increase!), streaming services
Goals: Maximize rewards for future travel and everyday purchases
Any advice or recommendations on which card I should aim for next would be golden! I'm open to exploring various options and would love to hear your insights!
Thanks in advance, fellow credit card enthusiasts!
Hey everyone! I am looking for a good credit card with a limit of around 3k-5k. I want one specifically and only for pet emergencies and to add pet insurance to - to keep active.
I currently have a chime credit builder account, and have built my credit with that, and several loans with perfect pay off history. One of them being a 20k car I’ve never made a late payment on. My credit history is only 2.5 years and I make 36k-40k a year depending on my work load.
I’m unsure if my request is unreasonable. I do get about 10,000 offers in the mail a day for up to 7.5k saying I qualify. But I also know that’s just marketing.
I’ve been nervous about a “real” credit card so I’ve held off until I felt I was ready.
I’m looking for any advice, info, and suggestions. No judgement please. I don’t have parents to teach me this stuff so everything I know was all on me to research.
UPDATE: I applied for chase freedom unlimited. I got denied discovery for their most basic credit card. So fingers crossed on chase. Im also kinda dumb. I forgot care credit was a thing.. so applied there and got a $3,300 limit specifically for vet emergencies that works hand in hand with my pet insurance.
So if I get the chase, I’ll use it for gas & small purchases only and pay off immediately just to add to my credit score and history.
Thank you all for your help!
