One that I feel gets slept on... Gone, Baby, Gone (2007). Ben Affleck's directorial debut, and a tense, mean look at a possible kidnapping deep in the Southie area of Boston. Stellar cast, including Amy Ryan, who scored an Oscar nom for this as the missing child's truly awful mother.
