My school has a grant that they can get a laptop (up to 2k lol) for me and I qualify. They only support dell products however, I’ll be taking programming courses as well as biomedical engineering ones and was wondering what the best dell model for my case was? I’m between latitudes and Inspirons.
Is the new model that just came out for each (the copilot + pc) worth it??
I work and code in python... i do video editing in filmora. Apart from that its all basic use, documentation and browsing etc. I am unable to decide a best suited model for this requirement. XPS and latitude are offering a lot more than i use/need. Latitude and Vostro have got too many to choose from. I use my laptop mstly for work only. Which one should i consider? Please advice. TIA.
Hey Reddit community,
I'm eager to start a career in programming, and I'm currently at the very initial stage of my journey. I'm thinking about app or web development, but I haven't decided yet. Right now, I just want to begin and explore more as I gain knowledge in this field. Currently, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3567 with these specs:
-
Processor: Intel Core i3-6006U
-
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 520
-
RAM: 8GB DDR4
-
Storage: 256GB SSD
-
OS: Linux Mint 21.2
My question is, will this laptop be sufficient for my programming needs, or should I invest in a new MacBook? I can afford the MacBook Pro 14 M2 Pro base variant, but I don't want to overbuy if it's more than I'll actually need. I just want a laptop that can handle everything I'll be doing in the future. So should I go for MacBook Air M2 16/512GB or what?
Appreciate any advice or insights you all can provide. Thanks!
