I’m in the market to buy either a new laptop or desktop for our small business. We are also opening another business and I will be running the books. I am planning on using the quickbook software. Important to note: I hate apple computers (what I am using now) so I will avoid buying any apple computers or Mac laptops. Any insight will help! I’ve been looking online and it’s pretty overwhelming, specially when I am not very tech savvy and don’t understand a lot of the terminology. Thanks Reddit!

Once again I don’t know much, at my old job we used optiplex 5050( I had a picture).
I also like the idea of Apple because it will synchronize to my phone. But I want to hear some good options. I would say my budget it’s probably 1,500.
I see a lot of all in one like apple and HP has but not sure how great they are.
I currently run a labtop that takes about 10 minutes to do anything

Pretty much what the title says, I'm familiar with Windows systems only. I'm not tech savvy, but I can honestly get by with my limited experience.
So, what is the best budget desktop system for business use only? Including quickbooks, social media posting and obviously emailing. I'd like to stay under $800.

Go to dell.com/outlet , click on desktop, and check the boxes under Professional Grade Productivity. I prefer the tower desktop machine because they're easier to work on and you can expand them. Right now they have a couple choices for $600 to $700. You'll need a monitor too. It will come with a keyboard an a mouse. I'd suggest Windows Pro and not Home.
