I have a relatively small 5x6 bathroom I need to tile but would like suggestions as to what’s trending right now, and what you think may stick around for a while. White subway tiles? Black subway tiles? Herringbone wall tiles? Hexagon floor tiles? I’m all ears for any ideas and suggestions. What color and size wall tiles would you recommend for the shower area, The shower base and the bathroom floor? And links to pictures or tiles would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I’m finally going to be finishing my guest bathroom. It’s been two years since we started this project and it definitely became the catch all from all of our other projects. So please, please ignore the mess! This bathroom is about 5’ wide x 9’ long to the back of the shower. Layout of the bathroom is vanity when you first walk in, toilet and then shower. I’m thinking I want to do 24x48 inch tile in here… is that going to be ok? If so, which direction and layout should I lay it? Should I do smaller tile? Thanks!!! First pic is inspo even though it’s not the same size tile, second pic is mine.
Redoing our small (7’5” x 8’3”) en suite bathroom. I am overwhelmed by all the different flooring choices. I’m interested in a quality floor that won’t be hard for us to maintain in our old age. It appears tile might be the best choice. But porcelain? Ceramic? If you had unlimited resources, (I don’t and am not looking to do gold, lol) what would you choose? If it matters, we’re doing a shower with glass doors. Bonus, add-on question: what should I look for in a good installer? Thanks in advance for any advice.
