Hi
I try many emal providers, but all no work.
Try:
TutaNota - this need 1-3 days wait for allowed you registartion. They didn't accept me.
ProtonMail: it always wants me to enter a secondary email, but it won't accept disposable emails.
posteo: Not free
yahoo/gmail: need sms for reg...
+ and try many from google from google results...
In 2024 not easy make email adress...
Looking for a free email provider that only requires username & password for login to use as a backup if need be. I’ve been told protonmail may be a good fit, but I need to make sure it is reliable first.
Namely, the issue I’ve been having with Gmail is a “we cannot log you in or confirm this account belongs to you” error, and I need to be sure proton does not do the same; and that proton can be used to create accounts on reddit, twitch, twitter, etc with no issue. I tried using outlook first, but had the same problem.
When I opened my Gmail account 10+ years ago, UN+PW was all that was asked for. Now they ask for phone numbers and recovery emails, which should be fine, but it’s causing unexpected problems. More than a few times these new requirements have lead me to enter all of my login info, be told “you cannot login & we cannot confirm this account belongs to you”; then try to use my phone number for verification, only to be told “this number is associated with too many accounts and cannot be used” (2 accounts btw).
I only have 1 phone number, so this means I can’t login at all until I try again later and get lucky. This also makes me worried I WON’T get lucky at some point, and will be locked out forever (since the same username, password, and number I’ve had for 10 years is apparently not good enough).
Furthermore, having the same phone number be saved to both of my email accounts isn’t really ideal imo anyway. One of my emails is used for banking, medical information, government ids + ssn, etc.; and the other is used for twitch, twitter, social media and whatever. Having my phone number be associated with my social security number and my twitter account seems irresponsible and counterintuitive; but I need an email for both, and google has decided to make it mandatory to save a phone number to all google accounts.
TLDR: is protonmail a good choice to use for social media accounts, and is it secure? Is there any way to be permanently locked out of a protonmail account? If it’s not a good choice, can anyone recommend something more reliable or useful? Thank you.
I am looking for recommendations of free email services where I can sign up for an email account without providing a phone number, or recovery email address, to create an email account that is not connected to any of my other contact information.
I do NOT need a recovery option for lost password and I do NOT want two factor validation. However, I would like a webmail interface to see my emails and want this to be more than a disposable email service that keeps incoming email for only a few minutes.
It is OK if storage space is limited or if I have to login occassionally to keep the account from being deleted for inactivity.
(mail.com used to fill this bill until they started requiring a phone number to sign up for an account.)
Thanks
Would prefer one that does not close down your account if you have not logged in less than a month. Looking for truly free no personal info gathering.
Already heard of gmail, yahoo, zoho, proton. <<< May require a cell app loophole or the free/no-phone was a past option idk not promoting them just saying I've heard of them already.
Like the title says, I'm looking for a new email provider that does not have half a million requirements before you can even make an inbox.
Yahoo, for example, requires phone verification to make a new email account, which is just about as anonymous as requiring an ID scan. And did you use a burner phone or an old number that you no longer use? Well, if you sign on with a new IP address, Yahoo will lock you out of the inbox with literally no way to get back in! Thanks dipshits! Thanks to this idiocy I'll be sure never to use Yahoo ever again.
I do use providers like TutaNota and ProtonMail, but often times emails from accounts using these providers will automatically be considered spam by larger email companies like Gmail and Yahoo because they're so small unestablished.
So, I would say I'm looking for something in the middle. An email provider that is well established enough not to be automatically red-flagged as potential spam, while still not requiring it's users to surrender anonymity on sign-up.
Any reccomendations?
And I mean real email providers, not redirect services, aliases, or email hosting providers that require I have my own domain name.

Again, no trials.
Need a new email acc to link to a spare gaming account. I am not giving my damn phone number.
I found a few that don't require phone numbers, but they all come with a warning of deleting the account after some months off inactivity.
I can't have the account deleted if I don't log in for months.
I need an email that will peacefully lie somewhere, allowing me to keep some gaming progress.
Edit: I don't know what kind of sorcery you're using, but it it NOT possible anymore to create a new gmail account without a phone number, it is required and unskippable and won't take temporary online numbers. Gmail is literally the first option I went for and it is not possible.
paid email are the best. but few can afford to spend extra right now. gmail is dropping support for imap without their intrusive api
what are the best free email services that dont require your phone number and provide imap service? ( your phone number can be used to track you and imap gives out few tracking info when accessed)
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to ask if anyone had recommendation for a free email service that allows me to remain somewhat anonymous without needing to enter a secondary email or phone number for verification purposes?
Any advice is appreciated.
I've tried using those temporary type email addresses, but that doesn't work to verify. Would a burner phone work? Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi,
anyone here knows about free and secure e-mail provider tha doesn't need verification (phone/e-mail), is secure/anonymous and can be used without any issues while using TOR?
Sure I could use temp-mail but I want to use the e-mail address again later.
Thanks
I don't know if any continue to exist, but I'm looking for one. In exchange for this high demand, I'm quite willing to sacrifice most other privacy concerns.
Sometimes a patron comes in with nothing on them, no phone and no previous email created. I cannot find an e-mail website that allows creation and use of an email without those.
Mail.com and Protonmail USED to, but now it's not possible. Gmail also doesn't work.
I don't know if this is the right place to post this question, so I apologize in advance if this is a mistake.
I've had two personal email accounts for many years, one on Yahoo! and one on GMail. There have been a number of data breaches at Yahoo!, so I've abandoned the Yahoo Mail account.
As for GMail, I wanted to create a new account there, since my old one had a pretty embarassing username. Unfortunately, when I tried to create a new GMail account, it kept prompting me for a phone number.
I've also tried creating an account on Mail.com, but my computer seems to have problems with that website. Everything seems to slow down and I can't seem to sign-in to the account I created.
QUESTION: Are there any free email providers that do not require a phone number and/or an alternative email address?
I'm looking for something simple (and free), as I don't need fancy extra features or links to newspaper articles, or ads that might slow down my old computer. Needless to say, I'm also looking for something more secure than Yahoo Mail, since I'm getting a little paranoid about my privacy these days.
Any recommendation you can provide is appreciated!
Thanks,
