I’m helping a family member set up a way to sell their artwork as a side hobby. They’d like to have a website for it, but from my research, most platforms come with monthly or yearly costs.

Since this is truly a "set it and forget it" kind of side gig, they’re not interested in paying ongoing fees to maintain the site. I’m curious if there are any free website-building platforms out there that don’t charge monthly or yearly fees, but instead may take a higher cut per transaction?

For context:

• I already have a custom domain through Cloudflare.

• The priority is not spending any money on this.

• They do not want to go through Etsy, FB Marketplace, etc.

Hello everyone! I am looking to start an ecommerce store, however I am kinda lazy to and lack the time to develop a website on my own (despite being a developer). Which is why, I would like to ask the best platform to start an ecommerce store in August 2025. I am from Malaysia btw, but I plan to sell globally.

I am currently considering Gumroad, but I heard its price is quite high, which is why I am looking for alternatives. I also plan to offer some free stuffs too, so I wondered if Gumroad will still charge me $0.50 for every sale of a free product I made. I also just beginning with no budget too.

I am selling a product online from a link on my Website, I don't relaly need a storefront, just a way to process orders. I signed up for Stripe but quickly realized how limited it is, and it even doesn't always email me when I get a new order.

What I'm looking for that Stripe doesn't offer is 1) Alert me of a new order through text and email. 2) Automatically send a receipt to the buyer when they place an order. 3) Ability to create shipping labels online and automatically send tracking information to the buyer. And it has to have no monthly fees.
