I am currently a gamer and writer, and I have to use my keyboard for atleast 10+ hours daily due my work. I am currently in the market for full sized keyboards but most good companies that I found here is most comment sections don't have any full sized ones, most of them have a TKL or 75 % or something along the lines of that. I saw Keychron, but other than that my options are something like corsair K70 or Razor or logitech. I already have a Logitech 915, but I am honestly not a big fan of this keyboard. Any good brands that look good and do full sized keyboard will be appreciated, thank you.
My budget is sub 300$.
So, my trusty Logitech G810 Orion keyboard that I've had for 8+ years has finally run its course it seems, keys are becoming loose and while I could just buy new keycaps, I figured I might as well "upgrade". So the question is, what is the "best" full size keyboard in 2025. I personally like the full size keyboards compared to compact and TKL. Budget can stretch to ยฃ150 if the keyboard is indeed worth it but of course the cheaper the better. Few keyboards I've looked into, Ducky Shine 7, Steelseries Apex Pro, Razer Pro Type. Would love to know other keyboards you guys would recommend
Edit: Recently purchased the Keychron Q6 Max. Pretty hefty purchase but this keyboard is so nice. Great build quality and feels so nice to type and game on

Ps: I have a Mouse G502 so being able to configure it without installing any other software is a win for me
I donโt have much experience with mechanical keyboards; the only one I have owned is the Logitech g613. Iโve been looking to get my first custom mechanical keyboard that is full size, has dedicated media buttons, is wireless via usb receiver, has some rgb for when I turn my lights off, and is not low profile.
I have narrowed it down to 3 options - the Keychron V6 max, Ajazz AK35i V2 Tri-Mode Mechanical Keyboard, and the Redragon Vata k580 pro. The Keychron and Ajazz look like theyโre better quality and more customizable than the Redragon, but the Redragon already coming with shine through key caps would save me the trouble of having to order south facing shine through key caps with the Keychron or Ajazz. Which keyboard should I get?
Hi!
Latest video from the channel "DimonLobby Reviews" titled "DON'T Buy A New Keyboard Without Watching This Video!" made some claims that are surprising to me to say the least. I'm curious what you guys think of them
The quotes:
(0:36) 1. Under NO circumstances should you EVER buy a full-sized keyboard for gaming. The fact that manufacturers still make these is laughable. And they probably do so because they can charge more money
(0:46) 2. Numpads are for people who work in finance
(1:06) 3. ...as a bigger keyboard can often cause you to extend your arm outward, which isn't good for you
(1:10) 4. and I do see comments from people that say things like "oh I like a full-sized gaming keyboard 'cause I use it for work". Well, then you're looking for a work keyboard, not a gaming keyboard, you idiot
Hello! Iโm sure thereโs a ton of these posts but I know so little about keyboards itโs hard to get a grasp.
Basically, is there any recommended full size keyboards for gaming/general typing? Iโve been using a razer ornata chroma for like 6 years and need an upgrade. The main things I use it for are gaming and programming so as long as it feels nice and is responsive and all that Iโm happy. Preferably under $200 if possible? Also a fairly minor note but if thereโs a wrist pad included or purchased separately thatโs a huge bonus
Thank you for any help!
I need a full sized keyboard Should be able to swap switches if wanted Budget of about $200 (could be a bit more if needed) Want something that works great (Will be my first keyboard that isnโt a cheap $20 keyboard) Preferably wireless, but could work with wired Preferably pre built, but willing to learn diy if necessary
Hi, I'm learning game development + 3D modeling, Should I choose a Gaming keyboard or a regular full-sized keyboard "With Numpad"
What you guys say?
Looking for a full sized keyboard that I can use for work but mostly for gaming. Would love something with adjustable actuation but havenโt been able to find any full sized keyboards that offer. Also not looking to spend much more than $100.
I currently have a G19s. Unfortunately, some keys have started to not work properly. You can't blame a 10-year-old keyboard, even if it was properly maintained.
The problem is that everything that gets recommended over the Internet seems to be incredibly minimalistic and tiny, with often half the functionalities of this keyboard.
A lot of "gaming" keyboards don't even have any macro or media keys at all! Let alone a screen.
Is a "mechanical" RGB keyboard so worth it, that anything else just doesn't matter?
Are there any large mechanical keyboards (for people with big hands) with a full set of keys, macro keys and media keys you'd personally recommend?
Muscle memory has taught me that.
I wanted a smaller keyboard. So, I bought a Keychron K8 Pro. I really like the keyboard. But I was missing the numpad. I don't use a numpad often. But I do use it, I really want it.
So, next I went with a Royal Kludge RK96. It has a numpad. But it only has print and delete keys on it. I'm thinking to myself, I don't ever use Home, End, Page or Page Down. I'll be fine.
Well, I'm on week 2 of the RK96 and turns out I used those keys all the time and wasn't realizing it. As I was using various apps, I was instinctively reaching for those keys and they weren't there. I didn't realize how much I used them till they were gone.
So, I'm thinking of buying a Keychron K10 Pro now. Which makes no sense because I have plenty of full size keyboards around I can use.
Hello! โจ๐ I have owned the Logitech G910 keyboard for around 6 years now, and I am thinking of upgrading to something similar. I type perfectly on this keyboard, and have absolutely no issues other than some of the keys have now become sticky, especially the "m" key, and some keys double press occasionally. I don't trust myself to clean it without breaking something. Here's what I am looking for:
100% full size keyboard. I cannot type on anything smaller. I'm too used to having a large keyboard.
Number pad
Audio controls for muting, and turning volume down.
RGB
I also own a Logitech mouse, but don't care if the keyboard is a different brand, but matching is always a nice addition.
My budget is $70-$150. Will preferably try to find deals on eBay.
A wrist wrest
Must be mechanical, I don't think I really prefer what switches it has, but would love if someone could explain the differences and what advantages they have. I don't do a lot of gaming, but I make music and type a lot.
Thank you for all future recommendations! ๐๐
Whatโs a good full size keyboard without a knob and screen?
Hey,
This may be a long shot ๐ , but โm looking for a full size hot-swappable wireless mechanical keyboard.
Only ones I found are the QWERTY QK101 for $270, and the Keychron Q6 for $230.
Are there any other ones that are reliable and good quality that anyone may know about?
Thanks!
Currently have a Ducky One 2 Mini but Iโve been wanting something full sized, was looking at a Logitech G915/G815 but unsure if either are a good keyboard, any recommendations would be nice.
Am i the only one who prefers full size in this space? I had been using home, delete, insert, page up n down on daily basis.. And i had configured my num pad for macro keys for daily use as well.. hmm I tried aula f99 pro, i love rhe sound and keyboard feel, but i had been lost finding the home, end button.. aaaargh
Here is aula f99 pro, it is an awesome keyboard, typing test had been similar or faster but yeah those function keys are really hidden making it a drawback for me T.T
