I am currently a gamer and writer, and I have to use my keyboard for atleast 10+ hours daily due my work. I am currently in the market for full sized keyboards but most good companies that I found here is most comment sections don't have any full sized ones, most of them have a TKL or 75 % or something along the lines of that. I saw Keychron, but other than that my options are something like corsair K70 or Razor or logitech. I already have a Logitech 915, but I am honestly not a big fan of this keyboard. Any good brands that look good and do full sized keyboard will be appreciated, thank you.
My budget is sub 300$.
Am i the only one who prefers full size in this space? I had been using home, delete, insert, page up n down on daily basis.. And i had configured my num pad for macro keys for daily use as well.. hmm I tried aula f99 pro, i love rhe sound and keyboard feel, but i had been lost finding the home, end button.. aaaargh
Here is aula f99 pro, it is an awesome keyboard, typing test had been similar or faster but yeah those function keys are really hidden making it a drawback for me T.T

What’s a good full size keyboard without a knob and screen?
Hey,
This may be a long shot 😅, but ’m looking for a full size hot-swappable wireless mechanical keyboard.
Only ones I found are the QWERTY QK101 for $270, and the Keychron Q6 for $230.
Are there any other ones that are reliable and good quality that anyone may know about?
Thanks!
Looking for something around 100-120, definitely a full size as ive had one for years, and im looking for red cherry switches, Ive heard from a few people who know way more about computer stuff than me that they're some of the best. Im currently looking on Google but the results are super mixed and I can't seem to find what im looking for, any help is appreciated.
Muscle memory has taught me that.
I wanted a smaller keyboard. So, I bought a Keychron K8 Pro. I really like the keyboard. But I was missing the numpad. I don't use a numpad often. But I do use it, I really want it.
So, next I went with a Royal Kludge RK96. It has a numpad. But it only has print and delete keys on it. I'm thinking to myself, I don't ever use Home, End, Page or Page Down. I'll be fine.
Well, I'm on week 2 of the RK96 and turns out I used those keys all the time and wasn't realizing it. As I was using various apps, I was instinctively reaching for those keys and they weren't there. I didn't realize how much I used them till they were gone.
So, I'm thinking of buying a Keychron K10 Pro now. Which makes no sense because I have plenty of full size keyboards around I can use.
My experience with mechanical keyboards have been pretty bad, TVS Bharat Gold, Red Dragon Kumara, Logitech G413, all horrible, unusable l within a year and broken within 2. Currently I am using a rubber dome Logitech G213, it’s a good keyboard, but it isn’t half as satisfying to use as blue switches. What would you guys recommend? I want a wired one, I wouldn’t mind something on the higher end, but I want something that hassle free.
So, my trusty Logitech G810 Orion keyboard that I've had for 8+ years has finally run its course it seems, keys are becoming loose and while I could just buy new keycaps, I figured I might as well "upgrade". So the question is, what is the "best" full size keyboard in 2025. I personally like the full size keyboards compared to compact and TKL. Budget can stretch to £150 if the keyboard is indeed worth it but of course the cheaper the better. Few keyboards I've looked into, Ducky Shine 7, Steelseries Apex Pro, Razer Pro Type. Would love to know other keyboards you guys would recommend
Edit: Recently purchased the Keychron Q6 Max. Pretty hefty purchase but this keyboard is so nice. Great build quality and feels so nice to type and game on
On another post on this sub about the state of mechanical keyboards and the hobby, I made a comment about how my biggest complaint is that there is a severe lack of innovative full sized keyboards. That comment got a lot of traction, both from people who like me prefer full sized boards with a complete numberpad, and from those who prefer smaller boards saying that functions and layers are sufficient.
For me, they definitely aren't, I have a permanently broken finger that makes it really hard for me to touch type in the traditional sense, so I am not someone who always returns to the home row. That, combined with muscle memory, makes a number pad extremely important for me given I work with lots of spreadsheets and data.
There are some options of course, Keychron makes a lot. Ducky has them. Drop, etc. But I'm talking boards that really embrace the enthusiast side of this hobby. Like, my main board is a TKL, and I put up with the immense frustration of having to reach my hands up the board for the main number row, and how much slower it makes me as a result, because it feels and sounds so damn good to type on, and it has accents on it that makes it a statement piece on my desk too. I want those sorts of enthusiast options.
I understand that the market dictates the trends to an extent, and that group buys are catering to what most of the community seems to want. But I also think there's an understated group of us who really, really want some of the recent innovations and trends in the MK hobby to extend to full sized boards.
Anyone with me?
Currently have a Ducky One 2 Mini but I’ve been wanting something full sized, was looking at a Logitech G915/G815 but unsure if either are a good keyboard, any recommendations would be nice.
What's your top 3 wireless keyboards for 2024 that is full sized?
I prefer mechanical, and that it lasts longer than 3 hours unlike my existing keyboard.
Budget has no limits.
I don't game much.
From what I understand regarding MX switches: Red is best for gaming. Blue is best for typing. Brown are a good balance between the two. I really have no idea if I would prefer bumps/clicks or not
Was looking at the Das Keyboard Professional 4 with brown switches. I would say the only thing this is missing is a back-light for this price, though I guess this is not necessary. I like the fact that it has the basic media controls included.
CM Storm quickfire XT is a good choice and is relatively cheap: http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-XT-Mechanical/dp/B00EQV0W02/ref=sr_1_36?ie=UTF8&qid=1429649570&sr=8-36&keywords=mechanical+keyboard
The XT has media controls but you just have to use FN + F5-12
Ducky keyboards are great too.
Ducky Zero Shine/ Ducky Legend or WASD Code for clean looking backlit keyboards?
My Razer Blackwidow Chroma finally died after ~6 years and I'm looking for full-sized keyboard recommendations. I've heard Razer Keys feel bad in comparison to many others but I don't know enough about keyboards to make an educated decision on what to buy. I don't have a budget cap and am open to building one if that's the best option. Any thoughts on what I should go for? Thanks in advance!
Keychron, Leopold, Akko or RoyalKludge.
For some reason my wife love the green razer switches. She have tried a keycheron with mx brown, leopold with mx blue and even a Varmilio with ivy switches but she just prefer BlackWidow v2 with green switches.
Personally i can recommend iQunix. I have used a full sized F97 with silent red for work the last few months and and the build quality is outstanding.
Hey! deeply sorry if this kind of post isn't allowed im just wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good full size, wireless, mechanical keyboard.
I have this nice logitech one that's nice and truly full size and not overly compact (which is nice due to my border line disabled fine motor skills) However it's clearly about to give up the ghost and im wondering if anyone has any ideas. Thank you so much y'all!
I'm totally newbie in keyboards temathics and my first mechanical keyboard is HyperX Alloy Origins.I use keyboard a lot for typing and work, so I need numpad, to get my job finished.I'm looking for hot swap keyboard just to give a try in cuztomizing it.
Thinking about getting Keychron K10 Pro with Brown Switches.
Is there any other maybe better keyboards for my budget?
Hi all, I need some advice for my new keyboard. My logitech orion G910 is starting to die but I really liked the keyboard. I am looking for a full size replacement. I dont care about the brand as long as its quality. Tactile Keys would be preferred since I have always used those and additionally I do want quick response times. I mainly use my keyboard for gaming (competitive and strategy games) and writing articles. As of budget it would be nice to be 150 euro's max. Additionally no preference for the keyboard to be wired or wireless. If you need any more details feel free to ask. And I appreciate you for your help in advance.
Hello all, How are you all doing? When it comes to keyboard size I am fan of 60% mechanical keyboards. What is your preferred size/why? Ducky Mini 3 is my daily driver & use it for gaming.
