Would rather not drive more than 20-30 minutes out of downtown Dallas. Looks like Living Spaces is recommended a lot and doesn’t seem to be stupidly expensive.
What are your “go-to’s”? Mainly looking for living room furniture
I'm interested in getting a great deal on some new furniture for the condo I just purchased. There are so many furniture stores and I'm looking for some recommendations in the Far North Dallas area. Yes, I could Google it but if someone has had a really good buying experience with a specific store or even an individual I'd really like to know. I need a couch, dining table and bedroom set.

Looking for smaller non chain furniture store recommendations! I’m located in Downtown Dallas but willing to drive a bit. Haven’t had much luck with IKEA, Nebraska, wayfair etc. looking on the cheaper side
Closing on a house really soon and will need all the staples like couches, blinds, rugs, coffee tables, wallpaper, etc.
I am looking for suggestions of where to shop for these items that is NOT Facebook marketplace. Would prefer a store or warehouse. No second hand either please. We are open to drive a bit to find some good deals so anywhere in the DFW area is fine with us. We won’t go to Oklahoma or Waco though.
Other than the obvious big brand name stores like pottery barn, crate and barrel, Ashley Furniture, etc., do you have any local furniture stores you'd recommend?
It can be hit or miss but Nadeau in the design district has some cool stuff. They have stores nationwide but they’re not like the big box stores. The items are all unique
If I remember there is at least one furniture spot in Bishop Arts, but there’s got to be others around here. Might check the design destruct- lots of places there if your wallet or purse can handle it.
Just moved into a new home in Dallas and looking to furnish our place. Any recommendations for places to shop for furnitures besides Ikea and FB Marketplace?
We are basically looking for everything from Mattress, Dining Table, Sectional Couches, Work Desks, Patio furniture etc.
Thanks in advance.
The baby is due in a months time and I wanted to get a small/medium chest of drawers for him. Aren't places like NFM kinda expensive? So I was wondering if anyone knew of any no name places were I could get what I'm looking for
Is there such a thing in inner Dallas?
Preferably not expensive vintage, but maybe decent second hand
Any recs?
Looking for a sectional for my apartment but hoping there are some furniture store people might recommend here.
Hey guys. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations for stores in Dallas that carry used furniture. I'm looking for large pieces and my small car definitely can't transport them, so I'm looking for stores that deliver instead of on Facebook etc. Tired of cheap junk furniture so looking for something we'll made and affordable which usually means used. But any other recommendations for discount furniture stores or outlets would be welcome!
We been looking to replace our sofa and wanted to know if any of you know of any factory direct outlets in the DFW area?
UPDATE: We ended up going to a Conn's outlet in Richardson that has damaged/returns items and found a beautiful top grain leather (not bonded leather) sofa recliner with a matching recliner with a 4 year warranty that will replace or repair even if we damage it ourselves for about 1k!
And BTW this set was not damaged at all, no scratches and the lowest price I found online for both was around $2300
They don't list this location in the conn's website but it's located on Beltine and Plano Rd.
(If I get enough responses, I’ll post a wiki style page)
I’m looking for furniture store recommendations. Price point is mid-market. Between Ashley and pottery barn so to speak. Area: I’m in north dallas, but willing to make a drive if it is worth it.
Please try to include the general style the store carries if it is unusual.

Need an office chair asap. I was looking into Staples which looked like a store with reasonable collection. Since this is my first time buying office furniture, any suggestions for other stores that are not crazy expensive like Crate and Barrel but have a decent collection of good quality office chairs?
Just moved to Dallas for work. Currently in the process of furnishing an apartment. Would like to seek advice on best stores to visit and if I should wait for black friday to purchase certain items.
Thanks!
I know of all the furniture stores by the Grapevine Mills Mall (Rooms To Go, Ashley Furniture, La-Z-Boy, Roomstore, Leather Sofa Company), but I am not sure what the pros and cons are of these places.
I am hoping to buy a leather couch, and not knowing what they run, I am hoping to spend about $1,000 or less if possible. Will I only be able to get a cheaply made couch at this price? What stores have the best customer service? I have heard that The Dump has good prices, then someone else will tell me that they are way overpriced. Is The Dump a good place to go? I tried going to Stacy Furniture ("If you're not buying from Stacy, you're burning money") and their prices seemed ridiculously high, although it may be really good quality, I'm not sure.
I had a bad experience with Ashley Furniture. They said they had a replacement cushion for my couch, but I could not have it (or even buy it from them) because the couch was no longer under warranty.
Where have/did you buy your couch/furniture from and had a really good customer service experience?
Some will laugh, but, you'd be really surprised what you find at Salvation Army. Now before we all go off and NO WAY. I would have never considered this before, inspecting it closely, and decided to give it a go, and take a chance, glad we did, save a ton of money, who doesn't like that? I lifted the cushion, and was the Thomasville tag, big grin came across my face. The location on Inwood, close to St.Paul Hospital, good people work there, they do have customer service, nice people. Its also clean too. I go in and look for antiques, I usually find something. I found a great sofa for $179.00, its a Thomasville! I lifted the cushion, saw the Thomasville tag, and a big grin was plastered all over my face. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. No ripes, stains, looks brand new, or hardly used at all. No funky colors. I was stunned to find it, I was hesitant, but damn man, its a fantastic find. I've been in there a few times since, and they have all kinds of sofas. You have to pick and choose. We've had it since June, and no problems. Laugh all you want, look every where, you never know where you'll find a decent sofa.
You should check out some furniture consignment stores. I've found some very nice (modern, clean-lined) furniture at Consignment Solution, Consignment Heaven, and a place in Uptown --forget what it's called.
Hi All!
I recently moved into a studio apartment and need to buy a smaller couch to fit my place. I’ve been searching online but I do prefer to see it in person. Does anyone know of any stores in Dallas that sell cheap studio size couches?
Looking for gently used or new but affordable furniture for a one bedroom space with an office. Need a sectional or a three seater sofa (preferably with an ottoman), coffee table, side/end table, TV stand, small dining/breakfast table with some chairs, a couple of office desks with chairs, and a small chest or set of drawers. Any ideas where to look? Open to online or in-store shopping as long as delivery is an option.
Honestly, you will find furniture cheap at IKEA and they also do free shipping.
I’m actually moving out of my one bedroom and have a small sectional, standing desk, nightstand, and barstool/bench I’m looking to sell. Lmk if you’re interested and I can send pics, most stuff was bought from Costco/ Nebraska furniture mart.
