I've seen this asked a number of times on several subs. I'm looking for mid-to-higher end brands--preferably modern-- that are direct to consumer or I can purchase online. Crate and Barrel's outdoor offerings? Yardbird? Blu Dot? etc.
-
I am not interested in lower/affordable options like wayfair, overstock, Costco, etc.
-
No wood: teak/tropical woods like acacia.
-
Many of these threads have also focused on materials. I've got the rundown of pros/cons of everything from tube and cast aluminum, to oiling wood, to polywood/HDPE and wrought iron and steel with rust and corrosion. Many manufacturers offer some of each.
What I am looking for are brands--whether outdoor specific or that have an outdoor line. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,
I'm in the market for some new patio furniture and am looking for recommendations that will actually last. I’ve checked out the usual big box stores (Lowe's, Home Depot, Wayfair) and the options all seem to be flimsy, random brands that I know won’t hold up.
I'm hoping to find something that can withstand the elements—specifically rain and sun—as my deck is uncovered. I don't need anything high-end or overly fancy, just a reliable, durable set that will stay put and look good for more than a couple of seasons.
Ideally, I want to find furniture that's not too difficult to maintain and won't rust, fade, or fall apart after a year. I'm open to both new and second-hand options if there are brands known for their quality.
Here are a few types of materials and brands I've been looking into:
-
Materials: Polywood (recycled plastic), aluminum, teak, and all-weather resin wicker.
-
Brands: Polywood, Outer, Neighbor, Arhaus, West Elm, Article.
If you have any experience with these brands or materials, or have a go-to patio furniture set you swear by, I'd love to hear about it. I'm also open to tips on what to look for when buying second-hand, how to protect the furniture, and if paying more for "solution-dyed" fabrics is really worth it.
