I’ve had sleep apnea for about 8 months now and I use CPAP and I want to replace my mattress. It’s a spring mattress from 2018 and it’s sunk in where I sleep.
I live in downtown LA in a small apartment with no elevator. So getting a huge mattress delivered is a big challenge. I don’t want to beg my neighbors again to help drag something heavy up four flights of stairs. So I was looking into getting a mattress in a box.
Read somewhere that memory foam could be good since it molds to the body, eases pressure points, and might cut down my tossing and turning..and could also help with breathing.
I’ve been looking at Purple, Casper, and Bear but it’s Bear that stands out for me, especially the price compared to the others. I took a look at their selection of memory foam mattresses and I’m interested specifically in the Bear Original mattress because it has cooling gel on their foam.
Has anyone tried this mattress before or currently has it? I’d really like to know if the mattress is nice, comfy and supports someone using a CPAP. Thanks a lot.

FYI I had a good experience ordering through Costco.com They offer free delivery and pickup if you decide you don’t like the mattress, no need to take it back to the store - pretty convenient if you don’t have a large vehicle.
