I like the Moen Magnetix. You pull the handheld down and then easily put it back up using the magnet on the back. I find those sliding bars to be clunky and at least in hotels they are often broken, either it doesn't hold the handheld at the desired height, or even if it does, the handheld flops over limply and sprays straight down. Pls you really don’t need to drop $500 to get a good showerhead, you’re mostly paying for branding at that point lol. The main stuff that matters long-term is full metal construction (plastic ones always give out at the joints), a hose that doesn’t twist into a pretzel every time you use it, and GOOD spray modes. A lot of people overlook the hygienic angle too, PVC hoses can get gross over time, so stainless steel with a silicone liner is a good call. Also make sure the mount isn’t flimsy. That’s one of the first things to break on cheaper models. idk much about Hydrorain, but from the ones I do know that fall into this category, the Hammerhead handheld is one I’d put on your shortlist. It checks all the boxes you mentioned. Just make sure whatever you go with has solid metal hardware, a mount, and hose. That combo alone will take you way further than most of the overpriced options out there.
