None of these speakers are made out of unobtainium. Materials have gone up some, but there are many speakers that will work for SQ. Not just 2 or 3 brands. The install is just as important. DSP is just as important. Look at modern premium OEM stereos. Sure they aren't the absolute best, but with a few $10 speakers and some cabin tuning and DSP. Hey folks. Can anyone recommend any brands or models of car speaker systems that are actually good?

I went to a local car audio shop and they initially told me they were going to install Focal subwoofers to replace my blown Bang & Olufson subwoofers. They ended up putting in Pyle subwoofers in instead. (… I hope I blow them up.) Now I don’t trust their recommendation of Focal either.

Can someone help? Does good car audio even exist?

If it helps for fitment/compatibility, my car is a 2017 Audi TTS

So many choices audiofrog, dynaudio, hybrid audio, morel, sinfoni, audison, focal (still good brand itself), helix, zapco, there are an abundance of options. I would look for shops in your area that actually carry any of the mentioned brands that you can listen to different sets with music you are familiar with and make the best selection for you. Most places that carry brands like these are the more reputable places to have work done.

What you are asking is essentially for us to tell you what the most beautiful work of art is. What is your preference? Do you prefer a warm sound? Brighter? Do you have a sub? What is your budget? Head Unit...Amps...Dacs? Just FYI...there are multiple levels of speakers for most of those brands. And that all depends on if you even want to stay in these brands. What are the best car speakers? Wanting high quality highs and lows.

To me sound quality means accurate reproduction, without getting into the extreme audiophile brands I'm going to give that to morel and focal, if you are looking for sharp highs and exaggerated mids then you probably don't want to look at SQ brands. You can get somewhat loud for cheap with skar but they are deep at the bottom of the list when it comes to reliability and sound quality. More on reddit.com
