I've been looking at IKEA's website for new bedsheets (I don't live near a store). Which sheets are the best? It looks like the ones in my price range are SÖMNIG, GÄSPA and DVALA. Which is the best? What I'm specifically looking for is a decent quality bedsheet that isn't thin/transparent (all of the sheets I've found at other stores are so thin you can see through them,) isn't too coarse and doesn't pill.

I love my gaspa sheets! I think the other ones are not as soft. I have the turquoise so I can't say if other colors are see thru, but mine are not. I've had my sheets for at least a year and have not experienced any pilling.

I love the Gaspa sheets, haven't washed them yet. They stay on the bed, rather then the cheap Target ones that we bought a year ago.

Hi everyone,
I've been buying ikea bedding for a long time. I have old fitted sheets from ikea that needed replacing, so I bought a fitted sheet and noticed there was a size difference even though both said queen. I thought maybe it was the model I got (Viscose sheets, which looked awful) so I bought a second pair in cotton/lycocel instead and it turns out even with a different product name and model the sheets are still too large even though I ordered what was the same sheets I had gotten previously. It also randomly feels cheaper than the ones I've bought in the past.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a model of this sheet currently available that is like the older ones or are they just all this bigger awkward sizing now?

For fitted sheets, you need to look at both the mattress size as well as the mattress thickness. The sizes seem to have changed from 160x200 cm (discontinued "Queen" fitted sheets) tot 152x202 cm (current and future "Queen" sheets).
