Hey everyone!
If you could only pick three accessories for your iPad, what would they be? Whether it’s for work, creativity, or just making your life easier, I’d love to hear what you can’t live without.

Just got my first I pad after years of not feeling the need for one, but due to work I finally got one. Its an ipad pro. I am excited about finally having one, but I always worried what accesories are ¨necessary¨ to get the most out of it. Which would you say are crucial? Which ones should I buy? (I am a penny pincher. But if its worth it, then its worth it)

Hey guys! I am going to be purchasing the iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) for Law School; It is my first iPad so I'd like to outsource ideas and recommendations from the redditors here: What are the best iPad accessories you bought? Ones that aren't first party accessories*?*
Maybe alternatives to the Magic Keyboards, screen protectors, etc..
Don't gatekeep it! Share yours!
I've recently bought the iPad Pro M4 11" and now I've been looking for accessories to buy to upgrade my experience with it.
What are your recommendations besides the pencil pro/ magic keyboard?
Need to buy some accessories for my iPad, any recommendations?
I have an iPad Pro 13 and it basically comes everywhere with me in a crossbody bag.
usually in the ESR black back case inside the Apaka sleeve with a triangle stand thrown in the bag
A. $20 Bluetooth Keyboard and trackpad - Apple Sheep
B. Removable magnetic privacy screen protector - use when I think I could need a bit of extra protection or at a work meeting
C. Magnetic removable Folio case with clear magnetic back…was my go to but has been replaced with my new set up
D. Plastic foldable triangle stand $1 I have like 10 of these scattered in different areas of my life
E. Bedside stand..goes about 85 degrees so great for watching movies
F. Alpaka iPad sleeve..perfect for travel without needing a bulky case..the iPad just fits so doesn’t do too much bulk or weight
G. ESR Clear Black Hybrid OG back case…prob my favorite accessory…looks so good in person
You have any interesting off brand accessories?

Hi! As in the title. I’ll start. It’s magnetic usb-c adapter, because I use my iPad everyday as sidecar and I also often picking it up, and for me it was game changer.
the one from the photo is not exactly the one I have
Hello everyone!
I’ve decided to get my first iPad. I’ll be starting a Master’s program soon, and I’m looking for a practical upgrade to help with studying.
I’ve always loved taking notes on paper—the feeling is great—but I’ve run into some issues:
I go through a lot of paper.
I’ve lost notes in the past.
It can be a hassle to find specific notes or scan them to share with others.
So, I think switching to digital will be a big benefit.
For context: I already have a MacBook Pro and an iPhone, so I don’t need a top-of-the-line iPad. My main use will be note-taking at university and at home, with some light photo editing. Anything more demanding I’ll still do on my MacBook. Because of that, I’d prefer not to spend too much. I’d really appreciate any recommendations on which iPad would suit these needs, since I don’t have prior experience with them.
Secondly, I’d love to hear about your experience switching from pen and paper to iPad. If you were used to writing for hours on paper, how was the adjustment? When I briefly tried writing on a tablet, my handwriting was noticeably worse, and that makes me a bit hesitant. I’ve heard there are screen protectors and accessories that can make it feel closer to real paper—if you’ve tried them, I’d love your input and your recommendations!
Thanks so much in advance!
So what iPad accessories did you all pick up during Prime Day? How’s the experience been so far?
I have an IPad and was looking to buy the accessories that come with it until I saw the price tag for the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil and I have never used these two accessories, are third party alternatives that bad? As the price point is significant, and I just want to level up my ipad however I’m not a professional drawer of some sorts, so is the quality that different from official Apple accessories to third party alternatives that makes it worth the price tag?
What’s your favorite iPad accessory? Mine is my case and Apple Pencil, pencil case.
I have the pen, but I was wondering if there was any other accessories folks would recommend that Apple doesn’t manufacture(just to be cheaper), like screen protectors, cases, keyboard, etc.
Thank you!
Hi 👋🏻, I Would like to see any great value budget products I could use to help me get a better workflow.
-
I came from an old windows laptop.
-
l will be in a medical school after a few months.
Also these are the accessories my dad bought already:
-
A "Hammer brand" screen protector that has a little friction on my apple pencil but grabs my hand hard. (Didn't like the experience.)
-
Apple pencil
The rest I'm gonna get on my own so any suggestion would be appreciated 🙏🏻.
Hello! I just got gifted an Ipad pro and I’m a bit overwhelmed on what I accessories I need to fully maximize it. For context, I’m a writer and a photographer so I will be using the ipad for editing work a lot. What apps are also must-haves for organization?
(Normal use) Original or non-original.
I'm coming from Samsung and I have 0 apple products, I'm thinking to buy an iPhone as well but should I get anything else?
I like my Galaxy buds and my Galaxy watch and I don't plan to change these two, but is it necessary?
If you have any recommendations for cases, accessories etc, you're welcome to tell me !!
Pencil, if you would like handwriting for notes and digital planners, and for sketching/coloring.
I’m satisfied with Smart Folio for my iPad Pro and iPad mini. The case is minimalistic and lightweight.
I tried the Smart Keyboard, hoping the iPad Pro would be a “laptop replacement”, but it did not work for me. I sold that keyboard then saved up money to also buy MacBook Air.
Pencil. That is the only reason to get an iPad Imo.
When talking best iPad accessories, it’s usually magic keyboard, folio touch, and a couple other things. Pen is Apple Pencil. Though I know from life my favorite things are usually off brand for very specific reasons.
What products are you guys using as accessories for your iPad that you like Better than the most expensive ones? (Keyboard/case, pen, kickstand, screen protector)
EDIT: I went ahead and got the magic keyboard. Specifically cause of the trackpad, and that it sits up in a lap, which my gf would be sitting as we don’t have a laptop or desk. Amazon let me pay it monthly so the cost is manageable. Will take it back for the folio touch if the not bending backwards is too annoying. It seems like Appel is very pay to play, and I don’t want to spend increasing money every 6 months that will equal more.
Double edit: Went to Best Buy and he let me try the folio touch. I’m happy to say that I do like the magic keyboard more. The trackpad on the folio felt a bit gritty, and having that kickstand on the back was a hinderance in a couple situations that I do often. Magic having the magnet to just pull it off from is also very useful, my family switches it often. all in all folio touch felt like a additional keyboard attachment, whereas magic felt like it’s supposed to be there. For $150 I felt like I could just use any product that does the job, cause that’s kinda what folio touch felt like.
Magic keyboard, Apple Pencil and a dongle with usb c, HDMI and a USB port. This way you can connect it to a monitor and use a mouse if you wish. The magic keyboard is not so bad, you can take the iPad out and lay it on the closed case or lay it on the keys. Both ways it does not get scratched. Awesome experience with the trackpad, not the same as the MacBook but you can regulate the speed.
Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. That’s all you really need.
Edit: For drawing: Sketchboard Pro.
